We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The staff took extra care to provide breakfast and coffee while the restaurant was closed. The room was clean and comfortable. The layout of the suite worked well for us--with the small kitchen area at the entrance and the extra sinks.

Excellent staff, very clean, good place to stay. Furniture is a little old. Good location. Near hospital and other places in town. I would stay here again. I did not get a chance to go to the bar or restaurant as I arrived there late.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mine had the typical amenities - coffee maker and even a microwave. Toiletries are average. Rooms and common areas a very clean. The parking is convenient and there seem to be plenty of spaces. The front desk staff was very friendly.

I stayed here prior to my interview for residency at Geisinger. I drove from NJ and the inn was easy to find and is right in front of the main Geisinger campus. My room was clean and comfortable with 2 double beds. It was on the first floor near the main parking lot however when I pulled the curtains there...

Thank you Claire T. Your comments are greatly appreciated. Pine Barn is located on the Geisinger campus, and is just a 5 minute walk from the entrance. It is indeed uphill, but the reward is a down hill jaunt on your way back! The Geisinger shuttle is available on weekdays; if your come to our lobby and request the shuttle,...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pine Barn Inn, while I was traveling on the interstate, I choose a place a little off the freeway. And I was not at all disappointed, it was quite, relaxing, luxurious. There was no schlepping up and down stairs to long hallways, you parked right outside of your room, in fact to stairs...

Stopped here to break our journey to visit relatives for the holidays. This is a really nice little place, the kind of hotel that you don't really see anymore. Our room was small but spotlessly clean and perfect for one night. There were good quality bath products provided including a few of the little extras that you don't see anymore...

Ok place, the room had everything one needed for a quick stop on the road, but the biggest downside is no hot water in the morning. Last time this happened to me was in a hotel in Cuba, it was in an all included hotel .... I wont stay in that hotel anymore!

I stayed at Pine Barn Inn prior to an interview in Danville. The hotel rooms was spacious, the front-desk staff were kind and welcoming, and the restaurant served a delicious meal. Pine Barn Inn certainly makes you feel at home when you're far from home.

We were forced to stop in Danville due to a winter storm. I went to the Hampton Inn first, but they were full and the desk manager recommended the Pine Barn Inn. It was a good choice; the room was clean and comfortable. It was quite a bit like a Hampton Inn, in fact; nothing thrilling, not a place you'd...

Great experience. My room was clean and very comfortable. Typical amenities. Highly recommend if price isn't too much of factor. It is literally adjacent to the hospital, which made going to my interview stress-free.
