We decided to head out to Raystown for the last hoo-rah of the camping season. Lake Raystown Resort Campground was quite a nice surprise. Since it was the off season, we did get a cheaper rate. We stayed in the campground with our 30 ft travel trailer. Our site was on the point, #134- Poplar loop. It was great because...

My son was married at Raystown Resort in September 2016. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the site for a wedding or other celebratory event given its superb setting, excellent service, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. Dan Genditzki, the Conference and Events Director, and his staff were helpful, responsive and professional providing guidance on what needed to...

Stayed at the Lakeside Villas. They're wonderful, 2-bedroom units with a small kitchenette and everything that you might need, including cable. Super clean & super cute. FYI - you have heat & A/C available in the villas, so that was a perk. There's a campfire spot at each site & a picnic table. (We brought camp chairs & sat by...

My wife and I enjoyed staying in one of the resort's Lakeside Villas mid-week in mid-October. The lake and the leaves were beautiful. The villa (cottage) was very nice - clean, modern, and well-maintained. We enjoyed having alot of the resort to ourselves. Enjoyed walks in the nearby state parks, though it was hunting season, and we should have worn...

This is our third year coming to Lake Raystown. We always enjoy the resort and the beautiful areas around it. The villa we stayed in was right by the water which made it easy to fish and kayak wherever we wanted to each day. Our only issue was with the staff at the resort. It is advertised that the resort...

The views were beautiful, site 125 in Poplar was almost water front, very spacious, and pretty level, except maybe a 2 foot hill between the camping pad and the fire pit. You can't beat the scenery , the lake is beautiful, the mountains are beautiful. And when we were there, a lot of the sites were empty so it was...

Cabin was nice but there was bugs, not the kind of bugs you want to bring home. Had a cabin that I thought was going to be close to the lake. It looked like you could just step off your porch and go fishing. It was about 100 feet above the lake an about 50 feet from the lake. So...

Fantastic family camp ground. Well taken care of. Friendly helpful staff. Tons of options from tent and TV sites to rustic cabins, upper scale cabins, lodges and more. A great little beach. Kayak, paddle board and boat rentals. Activities for the kids. All around great place.

The Proud Mary dinner cruise was excellent. We had the prime rib dinner. Absolutely delicious. The cruise is 90 minutes...way to short. It was so relaxing that 90 minutes flew by so quickly. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the prime rib dinner cruise. Next trip we will be trying the breakfast cruise.

Hotel staff was unable to manage and remove a large group of belligerent drunk wedding guests that they hosted and accommodated at the lodge. The hotel could not enforce curfew rules. PA State Police had to be contacted several times and were unable to arrest and remove belligerently drunk rowdy guests. Our family with a 9 and 16 year old...
