As a last minute decision, I decided my husband and I needed to get away for a few days as our holidays had been a time of loss in our family. We have two pugs that we love to bring with us when we travel. Finding places that will accommodate pets is not an easy task. When I stumbled upon...

We chose to spend our 30th anniversary close to home. What a local treasure we found when we stayed in the Tailor's Cottage. What a delightful home away from home with every modern convenience and loads of old-world charm. Our only disappointment was that we only had 3 days to take in every wonderful nook and cranny. Breakfast was amazing...

We had not stayed at this inn for several years, and were delighted to find that it is better than ever, in fact it is listed in the Select Registry group of outstanding inns! We were greeted warmly by the innkeeper who showed us around and gave us a brief insight as to the inn's history. It is an historic...

By the time that the innkeeper, Rebecca, had finished orienting us to the place, we knew that we were going to have a delightful stay (and we did). She was cheery, informative, available. She described the pros and cons of a local high end restaurant, and we dined there that evening, it was exactly as she had described. My wife...

Heading back to State College after a late evening in Philly, this turned out to be a fantastic alternative to the highway motels. The prices are identical to the better turnpike exit chains, but without any of that vague sense of hopelessness. And it's vastly, vastly cleaner! The bathroom was comfortable, the shower modern and warm, the bed too soft,...

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at our favorite B&B in Lancaster. Located close to everything we need (breweries, wineries, history, shopping, and the local covered bridges). Rebecca (inn keeper) and her husband are extremely knowledgeable about the area and could not be more friendly. Stay at this B&B and expect to be pampered with outstanding meals,...

Third year at this charming B&B for our overnight stay for our group that have been together for 40 years. Rebecca is an energetic young woman who runs this B&B with her husband, the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and spotless. The breakfast was delicious, starting with fresh fruit, eggs benedict ,hash brown potatoes , fresh juice, and a wonderful bread....

This was our first visit to this area of Pennsylvania. We chose the Smithton Inn in Ephrata to spend several days recently. We stayed in the Tailor's Cottage. Rebecca couldn't have been nicer, breakfast was AMAZING every morning, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Rebecca had a lot of wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area....
