Wonderful independent local hotel! We are so happy we ended up there. It's a great hybrid of hotel and B&B - private rooms with lots of space, charming restored decor, great history, good food, and welcoming hosts! Great deal too! It's an easy exit on/off the turnpike. We'll try to stop back every time we get a chance! Thank you...

I am not sure why this is not listed as a separate restaurant in Everett, because it is open to the public and not just to hotel guests. I have eaten lunch here several time and found it satisfactory. But today was an exception ... for starters, server didn't even wait for me to sit down before she wanted my...

Stopped to try this place when passing through the area. They had a large selection of pasta on the menu and the area we were seated was called "The Pasta House." Okay so we will give this pasta a try,,,must be good. We had a new waitress, very friendly and went out of her way to make everything right. We...

We have family up in Bedford, so a few times every year we head up for a taste of La Vie Country. We stayed here for the past two nights, and I am so happy my fiancé gave in to me :) (He's content with a quality inn, but I do like the finer things and had wanted to stay...

While this hotel is very beautiful, it really only deserves three stars. I'll start with the negatives. Cons: First, the heater is obnxiously loud. Without the heater, the room is so cold that you have to worry about frost bite. With the heater, it was difficult to sleep. The heater kept cycling on and off all night. We tried to...

Stayed in their Executive Suite and loved it. Had one of their craft beers, and their smoked chicken wings for an appetizer and Chicken Alfredo for the main course. Everything was delicious. If ever back through this way we will definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here one night for a weekend trip. First, they didn't have my room reservation that I had made weeks ago. Fortunately there was one room available, although it was not the room I had reserved. The fan on the heater/air conditioner in our room was loud! Very Loud! Every time it cycled on it woke...

My husband and I stayed here one night to go skiing nearby at Blue Knob. It is very nice and very cute. It has recently been remodeled and there is marble everywhere. The restaurant has good food and cheap beer. The complimentary breakfast was nothing special. There is also a bar downstairs. The staff were all super nice. My only...

I’ve been to this restaurant several times, both upstairs and downstairs. For reasons I now understand, there is no tripadvisor restaurant page for the dining portion of this business. Since it reopened last year, the service is great and the salads are good, although over-dressed. I just don’t understand this restaurant’s obsession with its charcoal cooker. It makes the buffalo...

Have been to The Union to eat several times when visiting the area. We ordered strip steaks, filets and pasta dishes. Steaks were cold and had so much gristle that we couldn't eat them. Pasta was barely warm and chicken was burnt. It appears to me there has been a change in management and that person is using a lesser...

“Our king size room with Jacuzzi tub was awesome. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is on the main street so you will hear cars driving by. It wasn't very loud and it didn't interrupt our sleep.”
