It had been years since my husband & I spent a weekend away together and we wanted a place that was quiet & relaxing where we could do some hiking and enjoy nature. We loved the Nature Inn!! It is beautiful!! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Our room was a nice size & very clean! The bed was... More

My family and I stayed on a Sunday night when my kids had the following Monday off. We were the only guests and had the run of the place. After hiking and then dinner in a nearby small town, we came back to a see a sky full of stars. We spent the evening in the library playing board games.... More

The Nature Inn is a very special place in the state park overlooking a beautiful lake. The staff couldn't be more helpful, and the large breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. The box lunch was a nice feature since restaurants are a 10-15 minute drive. The rooms with Mission style furniture were attractive and comfortable, with frig, microwave, coffee pot.... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Nature Inn! The setting is stunning and so comfortable! Our room overlooked the walking path and had as pretty a view as the lake view rooms. The breakfasts were delicious and offered different choices each morning. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and courteous. Each room has a... More

When I booked our stay at the Inn, I was hopeful it would meet my expectations. I'd never stayed at an inn in a state park, and wasn't sure what to expect. Well, it was a wonderful experience. The accommodations are comfortable and stylish, the breakfasts hearty and the staff friendly and helpful. Lots of opportunities for hiking, bird watching... More

Found this place by accident on a trip to visit Penn State and was booked for only one night but wish we could have stayed longer. It is a gorgeous and comfortable place to stay amid a beautiful State Park. We had a comfortable night sleep and then a delicious breakfast and a wonderful 2 hour hike among the trails... More

The facility is spotless and totally beautiful. It is a great place to sit and relax or see other sites nearby. Breakfast was wonderful and very filling and sitting around the fire pit at night was a perfect end of a great day.

From the moment we walked in the door, all the staff was pleasant and friendly and will to help in any way possible. With this kind of staff the weekend went fast and what we decided to do was great. The staff helped draft our way to the grange fair by way of back roads and over a couple of... More

Although they do serve a breakfast buffet & will do box lunches for your day of fishing or hiking, you will need to go to one of the local restaurants for supper. There is a small fridge, microwave & coffee maker in the room

The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle State Park was an excellent location for our mid-summer family vacation. We love the outdoors, but we're softies and traditional tent camping leaves us very tired by the end of the vacation. So the Nature Inn turned out to be an excellent alternative. The value is not just the quality of the Nature Inn... More
