I was at the Sate Park campground which was too noisy as it was close to the road. I had dropped in to check out the Nature Canter, just out of curiosity. Once I saw how nice it was, and with very reasonable prices, I stayed for two nights. More expensive than camping, but oh the good nights of sleep...

Hub and I enjoyed Easter weekend at this lovely inn. Plenty to do; we took the nature hike led by tha park ranger. Afterward, we enjoyed the delicious box lunch. The inn staff were friendly and more than accommodating. Enjoy YOUR stay!

This is a bit of a hidden gem in central PA. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The made to order breakfasts and menu for lunches to go made for a leisurely stay. Their location in Bald Eagle State Park, with beautiful lake views and Penn State nearby could fill more than...

Great place to stay especially during off season. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Grounds have lots of wildlife. Last visit I saw an Osprey perched on the top of a tree with a fish in its talons. Very nice lake that may get busy during the summer with boaters. I've only stayed here in the off-season - Spring and...

stayed here on a Saturday night when there was no availability for rooms in State College, an easy 30 minute drive to Penn State from the inn. Rooms are modern and clean with Craftsman style furniture; bed was comfortable and thermostat controlled heat perfectly. Bath was spacious and clean. Complimentary hot/cold breakfast buffet is included. Inn is within the state...

The Nature Inn is tranquil and well-kept in the midst of an amazing PA state park. The standard room in which we stayed was spacious and clean. We loved that every room had its own balcony or patio. Hope to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake! Wish that the dining room were open for dinner!

Very comfortable way to stay in the mist of Nature without camping! Great breakfast and great view and can have a campfire too! Not too far away from Swimming and fishing and Boating and a lot of places to take a walk.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel when other places in State College wee full...our good fortune I guess. We would all definitely go back. I would like to spend more time running or hiking the trails. Would like to enjoy a beer out on the patio too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Nature Inn. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful with everything from identifying various wildlife (we saw two immature bald eagles) to recommending dining options nearby.
