when we went to book a room for parent weekend this was one of the few places with availability. the room was very clean. that's the best I can say. we were on the first floor and heard all of the rowdy neighbors in the parking lot coming and going all night. then we heard the train and the train...

nice rooms. clean and well taken care of. this place has a free breakfast. Don't be concerned about the trains as it's not an issue. if you stay here make sure you go about 3 miles east on the highway to park and climb the 1000 steps. a hidden gem that is not well promoted but should be.

I have read all the reviews and I must agree with some of them, the staff is very rude they always look like they are mad that people are staying here with the exception of the one girl Megan ( I believe) she always seems very eager to help with any situation and she is always smiling. I would like...

Dirty! Unclean! We called to book a 3 night stay. My husband asked specifically if the motel was clean. The owner said, "Yes and we just had it remodeled". Well . . . we went boating on the Raystown Lake first thing when we arrived and when we got back to the motel and pulled the covers down on the...

If you are looking for a clean and inexpensive place to stay this is it! The room was great. This is by no means a luxury hotel, but the respect and kindness we were shown by Linda was beyond compare. The location was great for us. The area is Beautiful. All in all a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Never have I been treated with so much couresy by staff. Linda, who I assume was the manager, was so thoughtful and understanding. Had to change the time of our stay twice and she went over and beyond to accomocate us. Even without the very reasonable price this is a great place to stay. Jeany B

First of all, the complaints of odor of the room. Room 106 has no smell other than clean and I love it! Second, complaints of trains... Trains usually travel on train tracks and blow their horns and one should expect that when seeing train tracks and or trains. You get use to the sound, it's not like its SO loud...

Now, don't get me wrong here, this is in no way a luxury, 5 star hotel. That being said, though, this place is unbeatable for the price. (I should mention that I stayed here the summer of 2013 for 4 days during the Creation NE festival in a mini suite room). Very rarely do I write reviews for hotels (or...

It's not a chain but is that such a bad thing? I don't think so! The room is clean and the front desk woman was very helpful, even coming to the room to help me figure out why I couldn't get the remote to work. Great price and it's right near Miller's Diner. The next time we're visiting Juniata College,...

I stayed here in October when my usual hotel was booked. The rooms were a pleasant surprize. They appear to be newly renovated. The bathroom was not opulent but it was clean and newly done as was the carpet in the room. The room was well heated and the bed was comfortable. Nice big TV with many channels. This is...

“I would definitely go for the suites. They are nice for multiple people as it has two private rooms, and are in their own wing of the hotel. They also come with a fridge and microwave, no charge. Of course if you need Wifi I would check to see if they have fixed the problem of it not reaching to the suite side.”
