If you have the good fortune to be visiting Xishuangbanna Autonomous Tai Prefecture in southern Yunnan, the Tai Garden is a great place to stay. It is surrounded by lush gardens, so is very quiet. It has a new wing for those seeking more modern lodgings, but the original building is still very good. WiFi is strong and free. Service...

Thai Garden (Daiyuan) Hotel, very nice property but a little tricky. NO ENGLISH SPOKEN HEAR. They have 2 hotels there one is called the Tai Garden and the other is called the New Tai Garden Hotel. One they say is rated as a 5 star and the other a 4 star. However the pictures on all the advertisements mixes the...

Stayed here for 2 nights, the room, bed sheets and towels are clean. Room is very spacious with a balcony. Can't compare to international standards but it is the best hotel in this area before Anatara and Crowne Plaza opens in 2013.
