It's a tastefully decorated boutique style guest house. Very clean, good location for dining and strolling at night. We had a nice balcony with only very tiny child size chairs...? Staff was pleasant.

Elephant Home are a series of rooms in a slightly tattered apartment complex; it is by no means a hotel. There is a fellow who sits in a reception room two floors down but otherwise you are on your own. First the good things: the views from the 18th floor are lovely, the rooms are fine size-wise and the location...

Firstly, we had an airport pickup arranged that never arrived. We then had to call the hotel (they didn't speak English) and put them on to someone from the airport who spoke both languages to arrange another pickup. At the Hotel we were given a twin instead of a double room. They gladly changed it for us so we had...

Stayed in Jan for 3 days. They seem to not care if guests stay or go as we had booked for 3 days but when checking in they said we can pay for one night and then decide which I thought a bit strange. Then they recommended another b&B (hotel) based in the same building on the 16 and 17...

The Hotel is alright for one Night. But we got the impression that some of the good references here are writen by the own management. Dont ask for clean rooms or english speaking "service" it seems to be a rented floor in this 20 story building where they are trying to run a Hotel in the normal appartments. Our room...

We usually stay in small B&B-type places, but couldn't find anything appealing in Xishuangbanna, so we ended up here. Though we had prepaid, it seemed as though there was a problem getting the king-size riverview room we had booked. We were offered an inferior double instead--without a reduction in price. That is a sign that the hotel isn't very well...

The hotel is well located and cheap. The staff do not speak English but use a computer program to communicate. The room had many squashed insects on the walls. The bathroom was not clean and there was a rubber shower mat thickly encrusted with black mould rolled up in the shower. The bathroom always had a smell of sewers and...

This hotel is centrally located on the 18th floor of the building with the Bank of China on the ground floor. We did not see the English speaking owner or his wife so communication was via a translation program on the computer. This made for some interesting conversations! The building is located on a very busy intersection so it was...

I have stayed in Jinghong a few times at the usual hotels. This one is different because the boss lady there, San Fu??? , is Married to a foreigner and speaks good English, she Dai or Hanni- one of the local minorities. It has western service standards as she has worked for western owned hotels before. The location is awesome...

This hotel is new in Jinghong, and it is a great find. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. The view of the city from my room was fantastic. The hotel's location is excellent, is it walking distance from the night market by the mekong River and a few minutes away (by foot) from...
