Stayed 3 nights here after spending most nights in private rooms in a similar price range. The view of SJDS was nice and the breakfast was also very tasty. I was disappointed that our room was not cleaned once during our stay and that we had to ask for fresh towels on the third day to finally get some (other...

Steps away from town center, boardwalk and lively local scene, this gem is located atop of a small hill, and offers panoramic views of the town, the ocean, and the mountains from it's wonderfully appointed terrace (where complimentary breakfast of banana or chocolate pancakes and coffee is being served, upon request, from 7 to 10 am). The front desk personnel...

Hotel Maracuya was the only accommodation during our time in Nicaragua that we weren't happy with (and it was our most expensive). For $44 USD a night it was extremely disappointing. Our bed sheets and both of our towels had stains on them, and the room was in rough shape in general - wallpaper peeling off, dirt in the corners,...

After staying in dorms for six months we checked in to the hotel as a treat at the end of our trip. There was no wifi for the two days we were there, ants in the bathroom and no hot water. We went to reception twice to raise this but there was no one there, we rang the bell and...

We stayed here for 1 night. We had a room at the rooftop. At night very very very windy so that wasnt great at all. Other than that the hotel was clean and it has a beautiful view at the rooftop. The shower was very bad. Almost no water coming out. The staffs were friendly. Breakfast was oke. I loved...

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Maracuya for three nights early December. Although my review is not so timely, it's been in the back of my mind to actually come on to trip advisor and leave a comment because our experience was so good. Firstly, the young woman who managed the small hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful -...

From the other reviews, this is a hostel, so you can't expect what hotels offer. We had a pleasant stay, great a/c, which you pay $18 extra per night for,no tv, but I'm not on vacation for that. Very cool hangout areas and views. The breakfast is included, but just pancakes with fruit. Eggs were a couple bucks extra. Coffee...

Beautiful views from rooftop terrace, and the place is very clean, but that doesn't warrant the price of rooms. No TV, no wifi except in lobby or roof, low water pressure, and meagre breakfast. We moved to the next block after first night for much the same at almost half the price.

Far enough to be quiet but close enough to beach to walk and feel very safe. Free breakfast is just pancakes, so we only took advantage of it one day and went elsewhere the rest. Not an extremely social place. We went to casa oro and used their concierge service for better deals and general more know how around the...
