Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have to say what a wonderful place to stay Susie has a magical B&B attention to detail is amazing she has thought of everything you would need for your stay ! From fresh flowers in the room to a torch for the tow path! Beautiful clean comfortable room ! I felt like a young girl again on an adventure home made cookies on arrival! Felt like I was visiting a really good friend! Breakfast was better than any hotel I have ever stayed at ! The location is great and the village is so vibrant! Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again! What a magical place and what a magical lady Thankyou ❤️

An amazing stay with a fantastic host. Susy couldn't do enough for us and was so welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful, cooked to order and just perfectly cooked. It set us up for our day of walking each day. Beautiful room & setting, a perfect stay Thank you Susy!

Our room was lovely (twin), with a good view over the valley. Susie was , as everyone has said, really hospitable and kind & made us lovely breakfasts.Hebden Bridge has plenty to do, see (& eat) during our 3 night stay. We really enjoyed our walks & felt lucky to have chosen River view as our base. Susie's dog Eddie was also a star.

This is an excellent place to stay if staying in Hebden Bridge, whether hiking the Pennine Way or not. My 2 friends and I stayed with Susy and 'Eddy' her gorgeous little dog on our 3rd night of the PW, 29/8/2022. She was a wonderful hostess, the accommodation was easy to find and beautifully decorated. It almost felt like home from home. I would definitely recommend staying here and would try and book in here again if I was going to be staying in or near Hebden Bridge. Keep going Susy you are doing an excellent job. We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Susy is a brilliant host and recommended the Olive Branch in Hebden Bridge for our evening meal (10/10). She is also so very easy to talk to, aided by her lovely dog Eddie! We stayed in the Green Room which is in the loft of the house and you should bear this in mind if you are very tall or have difficulty manoeuvring around limited height spaces. The room has everything you need and everything has been thought about to make your stay that bit more comfortable - thank you for the mini bottles of wine and biscuits Susy! Would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We stayed here one night while walking the Pennine Way. This little B & B is clearly a labor of love. From the lovely garden and the welcoming and helpful host Sue to the charming rooms and the delicious breakfast, we thoroughly appreciated all the care that went into our stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I stayed at Riverview while hiking the Pennine Way, and found it to be a superb place to rest my head. Super clean and comfortable, and Susie and Eddie were wonderful hosts. Easy walk into town, while also being close to the Pennine Way. The breakfast was lovely. I was rejuvenated between long days on the trail, and recommend this place wholeheartedly no matter what reason you are in Hebden Bridge.

From arrival to departure we were warmly welcomed into Susie and Eddie's home : ). The room was spotless and breakfasts are delicious ! Location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to town, along the canal path or path by the river. Hebden itself is a gem of a place, and very dog friendly too.

We stayed here when we came up to visit our daughter and partner and their new born daughter. It is a lovely place and we have booked to come again next Easter. As well as being a lovely place, Susie is the reason we are coming back. Such a lovely person. See you next Easter Susie, when we will have more time to explore the surrounding area.
