Clean room, nice hotel inside and out, polite staff, good food, ample parking, 5 minutes from great walks and 5 minutes from the local town. Will probably choose to stay here again if we go back to this area for a countryside break.
Saturday night meal out.. starters arrived luke warm, main courses burgers very average. Gammon was enjoyable. Service good. Long way off the mark from other pubs in the group. Tempest and Spread Eagle are in a different league... disappointed on this occasion.
