The guest house is at the top of the Chevin with excellent views, and yet is only a five minute drive to Otley. We had a newly refurbished room which was excellent, with a large terrace overlooking the moors.
Dinner at the Mill in Otley was very good and much better and in fact cheaper than the Chevin Inn which is just a 2 minute walk from the guest house.

The Best by far:- After staying here many years ago under the previous owners. I was aware that having taken over, Nicky and Darren were undertaking an update and improvement  of the accomodation and facilities. The changes so far have a more modern look with high quality fixtures and fittings.
During this stay I was overjoyed with my room (spotlessly clean, tea and coffee making facilities with refreshed supplies of tea and coffee daily. Nice decor and a generous size comfy bed with extra pillows and blankets available. The bathroom had a great shower with ample supply of hot water).
Breakfast was a delight, nice airy dinning room, good choice of juices and cereals, I had the full English most days made with quality products/ingredients. All the staff were helpful and friendly, Nicky went the extra mile or two to make this a few days away to remember. The location we great and the views were fabulous. No doubt, I will be back for more of the same.

My wife & i stayed for one night ( Sat) to be able to visit family in area.
Booked into a recently fully refurbished "de luxe" ground floor bedroom.
Room was very comfortable, warm & well equiped with lovely country view through patio doors. Tray with not only tea but also fresh ground coffee beans & fresh cold milk was excellent.
Nicky is a delightful & helpful hostess.
Due to Covid concerns re breakfast we were offered & had tasty bacon & egg baps/yoghurt & fruit juice served in our room.
Will certainly return here.

Nikki (the owner) makes you feel very welcome and nothing is to much trouble. Our room was clean, tidy and adequate for what we needed. The views are stunning. Breakfast was a sauage/ bacon & egg bap, fruit, yogurt and a juice. Which is delivered to your door because of Covid-19. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The Chevin guest house is an excellent property, in a very picturesque and central location for most of the touristy attractions.

The bacon roll was lovely and room was very clean and comfortable. There is ample parking, and the owner was very friendly.

The Chevin pub is approximately 100 yards away and served nice food.

What a gem of a place this is! This is our second visit and we booked one of the newly refurbished self-contained rooms (no. 14) and were so pleased when we arrived, the room was very clean, really big comfy bed, fully stocked with tea coffee bics etc, and the host had even popped a bottle of wine in the room for my birthday! Very peaceful place with absolutely amazing views out of the french doors leading onto a decked area. We did a lot of walking around the area on the Saturday, you can walk for miles and the views from The Chevin are fantastic, we got to see the local barn owl flying early evening and watched the sunset from the Chevin. Breakfast is delivered to the door in a bag, the best bacon and egg butty I've had in a while, and you also get some yoghurt and fruit in there too. Posting some pictures as the owners have been renovating.

We will definitely be going back, if we can get in that is!!

This is an ideal place for us to stay, and very good value. We had a very spacious and comfortably furnished room with a private entrance, offering us the facilities of a B & B with the flexibility to come and go as we pleased. It's very free and easy, yet friendly. We were staying close to family with our small grandson, and they were able to visit us in a welcoming atmosphere. The views are fantastic, and there is access to the fields to go for a walk. There is a pub serving main meals close by.

We had to stay in the area for a family funeral. The location was ideal. All the staff that we met were friendly. The breakfast was fine and the room had all the facilities we needed.
The B&B is on a slope, but cars can drive to the rooms at the bottom of the slope.

We stayed at this lovely guest house for a short break of 2 nights. Would recommend if you want peace and quiet. The host Nicky was very welcoming. The accommodation had plenty of room. It was very clean and comfortable and the surrounding countryside could be enjoyed from every angle. Due to the covid situation your breakfast bap of choice, yoghut and piece of fruit was freshly delivered to your door at the time of your choice up to 9am. There is a pub The Chevin Inn at the entrance to the Guest house for food during the day and evening. Planning to return again in the near future.

A really lovely B&B nothing was to much trouble, Nicky was a great host who also cooks a fantastic breakfast.
Our double room was spotlessly clean with a lovely veranda to sit on with a stunning view. A great location and we’d definitely recommend staying here.

We arrived quite late in the evening (which we did let the owners know beforehand) and the pub at the top of the lane was just shutting, however we was allowed to buy “take out drink”and take to our room. So a big thumbs up for the pub too! We didn’t get round to eating there but I’m sure it would be good.
