Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brilliant quiet location and lovely hosts. Wonderful breakfast, the accommodation was brilliant and everything was catered for. Having breakfast whilst watching horses in the paddock was so peaceful. Breakfast filled us up for the day. Lovely location for walking and seeing Devizes, Avebury. Thank you for making it a great experience.

We try to get down to Wiltshire from our home in Cheshire every year to tend my Nannie's grave in Upavon. We always stay with Caroline and Colin at their beautiful B&B set in their stunning farmhouse and grounds. This trip was as wonderful as all our stays. They welcomed us like old friends and went out of their way to ensure my elderly and disabled mother had all the comforts she needed to ensure she felt at home. Without being overly intrusive, Caroline efficiently and helpfully ensured we all had everything we needed to make us all feel pampered. It's an amazing place to stay and they have furnished it beautifully, like an old manor house (complete with not just one, but two full-size suits of armour and multiple antique grandfather clocks), which, being a bit of a history buff, I really appreciated! The home-cooked and locally sourced breakfasts are out of this world and the menu couldn't be bettered anywhere for breadth of choice and quality. The top-quality bed linen and towels and the guest bathrobes (with a special shout-out to the oh-so comfy pillows) are worthy of a review of their own! There's a reason why this is a Trip Advisor award-winning B&B! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Wiltshire and looking forward to our trip down again next year already! Thank you both X

I travel a lot for work and this is by far the best B&B I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. I came to the area for 4 nights to house hunt - here is a list of pros: > The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by greenery and horses, yet you can easily access the main routes to the surrounding areas you may wish to visit with Stonehenge and Salisbury only a 30 min drive away. > The room was more than ample for my needs and I was even given soya milk everyday for my cuppas! The room was spotless clean and the bed very comfortable - so comfortable that I didn’t want to get out of it in the morning! > The breakfast is outstanding. They catered to my meat free needs and all their ingredient are locally and ethically sourced and of excellent quality; you must try the eggs laid by their own rescue chickens. > Caroline and Colin are such great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel part of the family within minutes of arriving. I was especially touched when they bought me a birthday card as it was my birthday during my stay. I’m moving to the area so might not need to stay again but I will highly recommend the B&B to friends and family who come to visit me and I might stay myself just so I can have the delicious breakfast again.

Beautiful Blounts Court Farm is approached by a long, tree lined drive and sits in a bucolic setting surrounded by trees, fields of pretty ponies and the gorgeous Wiltshire countryside. There is even the sound of leather on willow with views towards the local cricket club. We absolutely loved our stay here. The former farm house is so full of character and oodles charm. Our room, in a modern extension, was very much in keeping with the character of the whole building, and was spotless and very comfy. Caroline was great fun, and so welcoming, that she absolutely made our visit. Her breakfasts, cooked on the aga, where delicious and top quality. She provides a wonderful choice on the menu - so I did my best to try as many as I could in the time we had there ! I can highly recommend “The Potterne Pancake” made with eggs from the rescued chickens, containing chopped fried bacon and onion served with warm maple syrup poured over. It was sublime ! Thank you so very much Caroline and Colin for such a lovely stay.
