About
Description
The Lamb would have been trading as a public house as early as the 12th Century. By 1870 it was already well established as a posting inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches going to and from London and the More West Country. To this day the building retains plenty of its original character and features including inglenook fireplaces, flag stone floors and heavy wooden beams. We have 18 beautiful boutique-style bedrooms as well as a traditional pub, dining room as well as a private dining or meeting room providing the perfect place for locals and visitors to enjoy all of the comforts and amenities expected from a larger hotel. With attractions such as The Lamb is a perfect base to explore the area, including attractions such as Old Wardour Castle, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and the glorious Wiltshire Country Side Whatever the occasion we're here to make your visit or stay one to remember! The room was adequate in size but only had a four foot six bed. Surrounding this was a five foot ankle catching wooden base. A coffee machine and many teas and biscuits were also provided. Good shower and bath but the bathroom blind was broken....More

Lovely, stunning Sunday roast with family/friends. Opted for mains and pudding. Good atmosphere. Attentive staff and service. The roast itself was excellent. Our son wanted more gravy, asked, and it arrived! We all rated the Sunday main course to a very high standard. Fabulous flavour...More

We stayed for one night here, while a bit pricey, the place is lovely and cosy. There is a lovely fire burning downstairs in the pub which creates a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Set just off A303 in Wiltshire close to Longleat, not far from Salisbury and Stone Hence. Quiet village. Room was wonderful, great amenities and decor. Also quiet. Pub lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Felt was very good value for money.

Hi, I remember seeing on their website that they do, I think it may be specific rooms though and there is an extra charge. If you pop on their website I think it was under the Bedrooms page at the bottom.
