The room was clean comfortable and had a good supply of toiletries(no tiny hard to read bottles). The bed was a good size. The breakfast was cooked to order and when I asked what was available the reply was anything you like.

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. Plenty to go round and beautifully cooked. I would award full marks if the service was a little less disorganised and the ladies toilet facilities were not so shabby.

we regularly go to the Bolingbroke Arms for either lunch or dinner, as a couple, small (adult) family group, or occasionally mob-handed as a group of more than 10 people, and we enjoy it every time. From the warm welcome, to the attentive service, to the excellent food from a comprehensive menu and good specials board... this place succeeds every... More

Nice clean family room, polite staff, very good food food (dinner and breakfast) and all at a reasonable price! We would happily use this hotel again when next in the area - much nicer place than some of its more expensive local rivals

This is my 2nd visit here and both times I cannot fault the meal or service. The meat we ordered was tender and tasty. The chips are the best I have ever tasted in a restaurant. I would highly recommend it, come early as they get really busy.

Have returned to this pub as enjoyed it before. They open at 12 to a warm welcome. The grounds are well keep. Inside quaint. They have a lovely lunch menu and a specials board. The food is freshly cooked. Liver and onions delicious with plenty of mash and 3 more vegetables served on the side. I had a vegetarian option... More

So we came here today for my partners 40th birthday. As seems to be the case when we have eaten here before it was extremely busy. The table next to us were complaining as to the whereabouts of their food when we arrived so we realised we were going to have to wait. It took a while to get our... More

A group of us went for a meal at this lovely local pub this evening. The food was tasty, hot and served in generous portions. The staff could not have done more for us. Well worth a visit if you're in the area or even as a stop off from the M4. Can recommend the braised beef and bubble and... More

My Mum and I went for Sunday lunch today. We were impressed with the extensive menu! We both had roast lamb and Mum selected the child's portion. We couldn't fault anything. The meat was tender even though it looked shredded, roasties that looked and tastied like proper roasties! There was a dish of five splendid vegetables and another with cauliflower... More
