Have stayed at this hotel several times. We stayed there over the Easter Break, I asked for a disabled room , the only thing for disabled was the ramp into the outside room. There were no handrails or aides whatsoever. THe shower was over the bath, so had to buy a step and help my husband into it. The room...

I stayed at the Kings Arms early December having visited a year ago, and I was pleasantly surprised regardless of the previous reviews about the hotel. Although the rooms are seemingly slightly dated they were well cleaned and cosy. I came to understand the new management team are refurbishing the entire business as the bar and restaurant have come a...

Staff are all incredibly friendly, currently in the middle of a refurbishment so understandably a little topsy turvy but they cope well! Clean and welcoming place. Will most definitely be returning! The food is possibly the best I've had in malmesbury and the portions are incredible!

Photo from website looks good but don't be fooled! Booking & deposit system worked fine. Poor receptionist tried her best under circumstances. However, rooms expensive, unclean, in need of maintenance (including unsafe lights over shower), Internet was sporadic. I lost my deposit of £75 but could not even stay for 1 night!!

Stayed at this hotel for one night with friend and our children. We occupied a family room which was on the small side but was adequate. Getting into the property was an issue as our jeep could barely fit through the tiny drive, however the rear of the car park is set with beautiful countryside views. the hotel has old...

Lunch time stop. Everywhere else was packed for lunch time in this little town, so we popped in Kings Arms . It was dead quiet. Ordered soup and it was lovely. Along with large warm baton style roll . So a good choice. Nice place, clean and friendly .

It is in urgent need of renovation and I understood that is going to happen now!!! We also stayed there for a wedding and our expectations were not very high after other reviews. Malmesbury is very beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the local people we met were very charming and we had a fantastic two days.

My sister and I shared a twin room following a family wedding reception nearby. Our room (9) was off the courtyard and incredibly basic. It was cold with a fraying carpet and some sort of metal bathroom storage unit which was rusting away. You could only turn the bathroom light on with the main light and there were no bedside...

Stayed here several years ago and it was great. From website I could see it had been renovated, but that also must have been years ago as it is not clean and not in good state of repair, though clearly it was once. One staff member, Lisa, checked us in, told there was no dining tonight (management issue?), worked the...

After the recent spate of dreadful reviews we did not have high expectations but were staying for a wedding and all other accommodation nearby was booked up so we proceeded with our stay. We were extremely pleasantly surprised - the staff were polite and helpful and the room (room 4, the family room) was very nice. The building is very...
