Abbey is in a central location with excellent facilities available. However the hotel feels tired and not particularly clean, and the food is very average. In the main restaurant the food is better, but in the Golf Club restaurant and room service it is quite poor.

Stayed for a couple of days with the children during half term. The hotel was perfect for us, really clean, great food and friendly staff. Ideally placed for Cadbury World and other attractions. We will definitely be back!

We booked a package deal for our daughters 3rd birthday which included bed and breakfast, West Midlands safari park entry and Cadbury world. We were traveling up from bristol and I was informed that I needed to collect tickets from hotel prior to going to the safari park. So I traveled up the day before to collect as informed by...

I stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and well presented. The Lights and mirrors were well placed too. I dined for dinner with a group which was delicious. I used the Pool facilities at about 6pm on a Monday; AVOID! I was told after that this is the time they have Children's Lessons and the kids were in...

We had a comfortable stay here, but little things let it down. We were given an upgrade to an executive room which was lovely and spacious but the shower light did not work. It was replaced quickly but the handy man left a mess in the shower with bits in the basin! The water in the shower was boiling hot,...

We stayed at the Abbey hotel for 2 nights in order to visit Cadbury World. Very impressed with the service even before we left - they had arranged our tickets as requested and organised a travel cot. When I enquired whether the room had a fridge, one was arranged. We stayed in a family room which was a good size,...

We stayed two nights so we could drive up from the south west and go to the snow dome. The hotel was well placed to do this by driving up the night before and it was an easy 30 mins drive to Tamworth. The rooms are clean, spacious and beds comfy. Breakfast was also very good. The only downside (which...

We saw the offer for the £49 overnight stay and decided to take advantage, booking an evening meal and breakfast too. Food and service was lovely. The only disappointment was when we checked out, even though I had paid in full at the time of booking, our account showed the full balance outstanding. However this was quickly resolved as luckily...
