I made a return visit to the Tack Room, my favourite cottage, as an ideal place to spend a self catering COVID free break. Fiona and Dan are taking every precaution in the current situation, so I felt confidant that the cottage would be great for a break away from it all. And they couldn't do enough to help me. As someone with mobility issues I like that the Tack Room has a walk in shower. It is also well equipped, including hand gel, washing up liquid etc. and has the convenience of the swimming pool via the kitchen door. A great place for a family to stay. I spent a lot of my time in the lounge watching the birds in the gardens. With the odd trip to the games room to play pool. My TV also had NETFLIX so I caught up on a few series I hadn't had time to watch. Apart from one trip into Upton to go to the Pudding Shop (sweet and savoury suet puddings- check out their website) and Clives Farm just down the lane, I stayed at Little Boynes and just chilled out. But the rest of my family did a couple of country walks.Food-wise Clives Farm has fruit veg meats etc. Upton has a couple of small supermarkets. And many of the local eateries deliver takeaways too.

Our family of 3 have just spent a wonderful, relaxing week in the tack room, access to the swimming spool and jacuzzi via the kitchen door. So cosy so comfortable and every detail is thought of. We are so rejuvenated!

We hired the biggest of three little cottages “The Tack” nestled in the country side not far from the stunning Malvern hills and the small town of Upton upon Seven, it sits quietly just off a country road. If you like silence and peace then this cottage is great. There’s also a games room at the end of the garden but the real gem is the swimming pool which is accessed via a door in the kitchen. Great facilities and the Owners live right next to you and they are very helpful and accommodating. I’ve rebooked for October

Lovely little cottage. Clean and tidy. As a bonus it's has shared swimming pool. In a great place for exploring the Cotswold and the Malvern Hills. Close to Upton Upon Severn with lovely shopping and walks along the riverbank. Plenty of places to eat.

We have just returned from a stay in "the tack room" with our 3 young sons. What a fabulous place to stay! We were warmly greeted on a dark and dismal Friday evening and then showed all around the cottage and adjoining pool. The accommodation itself was glorious - much larger than it looked from the pictures on sykes cottages. A spacious lounge/diner with an adequate kitchen and 2 large bedrooms - separated by a well appointed bathroom. Beds were comfortable, as were the sofa and chairs. Books and dvds were available too. There were some communal facilities - we were lucky enough to be the only people there so didn't have to share the wonderful small swimming pool (however I'm not sure how it would cope with potentially 6 other people using it) - and we didn't really have a lot of time to make use of the "games room" but it looked great! The nearby towns of Upton is nice and cute for a stroll and some essentials - and we ate out in one of its many pubs. We had a lovely time and are already planning our return visit later this year. Thank you so much for a relaxing weekend break!

Just returned from our stay in the Orangery. Had booked all 3 cottages for a family christmas holiday. Dan and Fiona are great hosts, very welcoming and they have thought of everything that you could need for your stay. All the cottages are clean, comfortable and cosy. We loved the pool and the games room, and the fact that our dogs were welcome too. Free wifi was handy as my phone signal was pretty much non existent. Lots of good walks and eateries in the local area. We have all had a fantastic time and would definitely return. Thank you.

We stayed at The Orangery for half term week & had a fantastic stay. We were greeted by Fiona who showed us around & made us & our 4-legged friend feel very welcome. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean & really nice & warm with plenty of hot water. Although the kitchen isn't huge, its very well laid out & is so well equipped - we found everything we could possibly need. We were supplied with plenty of fresh towels & the beds were very comfortable with lots of cosy bedding. The pool was a massive hit with our daughters who went in every day. As with the cottage, the pool & pool area are spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend Little Boynes to others.

Stayed in the Byre, perfect size for a couple, everything you need, tv, DVD, wifi, large comfy bed, kitchen/diner/lounge, bathroom with shower over bath. This cottage has everything including books, DVDs, even a welcome pack. We stayed with our sons family who were in the 'tack room' which is a two bedroom cottage next door to ours. The grandchildren loved the pool, two to three hours a day, and the pool table and ping pong in the shed. There is equipment for every game you can think of in the games room. It's very peaceful only 5 min drive from the village, the owners Fiona and Dan are very friendly but never intrude into your holiday, Fiona gave us a tour of the facilities and told us just to knock on her door if we needed anything. Would recommend to anybody wanting a peaceful retreat for touring the area.

We had a lovely time at Little Boynes. We stayed in The Byre, a very cosy little barn conversion which is small but has everything you need. We loved the swimming pool and the games room and the large garden meant we had lots of room beyond the cottage for other activities. Little Boynes is well placed for the Malvern Hill plus lots of lovely local walks and Clive's Fruit Farm just down the road which has animals, a play area and a cafe. I would highly recommend a visit!

Back again (first trip this year) and Dan and Fiona are just the best! The Tack Room was spotless as usual, swimming pool just what was needed for a relaxing morning, afternoon or evening, gardens were an amazing sun trap even at this time of year, dogs loved it as usual trying to catch the squirrel when it was feeding from the bird table! So close to so many lovely places to eat, drink and visit. Will never tire of coming here and already looking forward to our next visit in 14 weeks time (not that we're counting!)
