Disappointed- bar man spills my drink and tops it up with a different beer! I complain and get told that it's just beer and makes no difference. I complain again and a replacement pint Show some respect for your beer. The rooms themselves are very good and the staff are generally helpful.

Came here for dinner on Friday night for a kid free evening out. Had reserved online and requested a window seat but was initially sat in a booth but was moved to a window with no problem. Service was very good and attentive and a slight problem when the mains came out was rectified immediately. Had the duck spring rolls... More

A lovely, well laid out pub which serves exceptional food. We went on recommendation and were not disappointed. It was fairly busy being a Sunday evening but service was quick and cheerful. Ordered at the bar, not sure if that's the norm. Huge portion sizes and the best roast I have had out in a long time! Just hit the... More

My only issue was that we had to pre order as more than 8 diners! They say thats so we would not have a long wait for... More

Called in at the Red Lion after playing 18 holes of golf at Harwood Golf Club - 10 minutes away. Nice, clean, well furnished place with excellent choice of meals. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Large car park with well spaced areas and able to accommodate all sizes of cars.

Stayed here as I was attending a wedding in the area. From arriving to booking out I was made to feel very welcome. I will be back but will try the food next time. The rooms are very well decorated, very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Popped in on the off chance and had a delicious roast beef lunch. Staff very well mannered and attentive. Service excellent. Other choices on menu were also inviting, with plenty for all tastes. Well worth a visit.

4 of us went and everyone of us had a good meal, there were no complaints. The service was excellent and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wanted the Lamb shank and was looking forward to it only to be told they had ran out. So,... More

“Most of the rooms are at the front, right on the road which was a bit noisy from very early morning. The rooms do have secondary glazing though so in winter is fine but might be a bit nosier in summer when you probably want to leave the window open. Suggest asking for a room at the back if there is one available.”
