I have stayed twice at the Castle quest house and was made to feel at home, privacy given at all times unless you need help. Breakfast is excellent, so are the owners soon to return back in the very near future

Lovely little guest house just a short distance from Bury town centre run by a friendly husband and wife team who make you feel welcome. Great rooms, comfortable and very clean with tea making facilities.

Booked into this guest house while on a conference in Bury. The place was great; the owners (Russ & Helen) couldn't have been more friendly and coped with my frequently-changing arrival time (traffic!) with the minimum of fuss. Breakfast was superb; I'm a vegetarian but they were more than happy to provide extra eggs, beans, hash browns etc to make...

Stayed for 2 nights, and Russ and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. Had to make an early start on the first morning, and it was no trouble for them to leave out cereal, juice, fruit and toast for me. And on the second morning, they cooked me a most superb breakfast, with everything you would expect, including black pudding....

The B&B is quite convenient to visit Manchester if you have a car , there is a large parking close to the guest house. The room is not so large but OK and not ensuite, the bathroom is nevertheless private and just at the next door. Breakfast is good and has to be taken before the boss leaves for work.

Good location (not far from the Bury interchange, which has a taxi rank half a minute away, for the tram from Manchester), good price. The room had a comfortable bed, en-suite with towels, etc, provided. Good breakfast. And nice people running it.
