Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely location. The pod was well equipped and very cosy, however the plastic coated bed was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on, we really didn’t get much sleep. We walked around the reservoir which was stunning, Greenfield town is a short walk away with plenty of dog friendly pubs. We had a lovely stay it would have been perfect if the beds were comfortable

We stayed in a lodge and the location was absolutely perfect. So many amazing walks on our doorstep. Close to the village for anything you may need. The lodges themselves were fantastic and doggy friendly too as we took our lab! Both my boys loved the hot tub as did we, the beds were soo comfy (my teenagers loved them!) and the living/ dining area was a great size for relaxing in the evening. The lodges were very well equipped too and we even got to sit on he decking and have a bbq one of our evenings which was great! We will definitely be back. The site was very accommodating and the lady in the help centre was really friendly and helpful! We cannot wait to return!

Everything about our stay was perfect! We had a glamping pod over looking the lake. The pod itself was bigger than we expected, it had everything we needed and more. We celebrated a birthday while visiting the park and the setting couldn't have been any nicer. We had (in my opinion) the best pod on the site. A big thank you to Sally for making it all happen for us! We will definitely be visiting again very soon!

Absolutely stunning lodge nestled into the hillside. A very secluded and idyllic spot- ideal location for several fantastic hikes on your doorstep! Loved that is was doggie friendly too. Comfy beds, well maintained hot tub and easy parking. Staff were superb and very welcoming. Super easy to order local food in and would recommend a trip to the Wagon Inn pub following a long hike the food was divine! Honestly couldn’t recommend this lodge enough- we will definitely be returning !

View over the lake, beautiful (in Pod 20)... great short break weekend at last minute, good price, Pod lovely - would definitely do again, staff friendly and helpful. Wildlife kept us entertained too at the times we saw it. Good base to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Peaks and canals by Marsden.

Very lovely place in a nice country setting. Cabin was clean, well maintained and had a lot of extras that your don’t find in cabin parks like these. Highly recommend. Regular maintenance checks are carried out which gave us comfort that everything is well looked after.

We stayed at the secluded spa 6 for 2 nights in June - firstly Sally and her team were very helpful and friendly and made our booking a breeze. They were helpful every step of the way and also whilst we were there. They are a credit to the business. The lodge was beautiful and spacious and everything was pristine - we loved it that much we wanted to stay and happily live there lol! The site is very clean and lovely and peaceful - the views blow your socks off and it’s just pure bliss. You don’t hear noise from other lodges. Parking is great too and the grounds are immaculate. Definitely worth the money! The site is safe with on site security walking around and it’s very close to local amenities like Tesco, The Clarence Pub and quant Uppermill is a a 5 min drive away with lots of places to eat and drink or a stroll. We only live local to Dovestones but we love it that much it’s our R&R - we stayed at the pods twice too and they are just as great! My only recommendation would be to have a bigger BBQ at the lodge (like the ones for the pod). Thanks to Dovestones for another great memory (particularly Sally).
