Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family stayed in Tiggers cottage as part of our visit to the Fat Duck for my wife's 50th birthday & we couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect (just a short walk from the Fat Duck), the facilities/cleanliness of the cottage was excellent & the host (Denise) couldn't have been more welcoming. In our opinion it was a luxury well worth the price.

A gift to the heart at any time of year. We stayed at Christmas Cottage for a short break and so enjoyed ourselves. Christmas is a time for giving gifts and this Cottage is a gift to any visitor at any time of the year. As sweet old world terrace cottage ideally placed in the heart of Bray. The modernisation has added to the charming and spotless character and we immediately felt at home. Denise is an incredible host and laid on so many unexpected treats. Every tiny detail added to our happiness, from the home made granoula and local produce for breakfast to chiled glasses for a celebratory drink. Give yourself a gift that will lift your heart - stay at Christmas Cottage

The quintessential Bray cottage. Complimentary gin, the most comfortable bed, and staggering distance from four of the best of their genre culinary establishments in the country. A true home from home, just perfect.

We stayed at the Christmas cottage for several nights when over in Bray to enjoy the various restaurants. The location of the Cottage couldn't be more perfect - just few meters from the Fat Duck and the Hinds Head and only a short walk to the Waterside Inn. The focus of our trip was the various restaurants, but the cottage really made the picture complete. We truly enjoyed our stay and the staff is absolutely brilliant! Once arrived at the beautiful Cottage, we had a very warm welcome from Christina. She gave us a little tour of the Cottage - and of Bray - and even managed to get us booked in last minute for dinner in the Hinds Head for the evening. The cottage itself is fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast provisions, the well stocked fridge, and the complimentary drinks provided. Throughout our stay Oliver popped in to make sure all was well and to drop of a really nice cheese board and bottle of Champagne. Nothing was too much for them. Loved the location, the cottage itself and the staff and would highly recommend staying here. My wife and hope to return soon!

Perfect location, beautiful house (Lavender House) just a few minutes walk away from Villa Caldesi (superb Italian restaurant) and all the other famous restaurants in Bray. The property host, Oliver, could not be more helpful - both welcome and concierge services. Everything thought of - and it’s just lovely cooking breakfast the next morning rather than being in a busy hotel. Thank you Oliver!

Christmas Cottage was an absolute delight. We booked through Truley Experiances and they were great. Our hostess Cristina made us feel so welcome and showed us around the cottage as well as giving us recommendations of places to visit. My husband was spoilt rotten for his birthday. We ate so much food! Caldessi was tasty and our 5 course meal wine pairing at Hinds Head was also wonderful. We are going to come back again because there still loads of places to visit. Thank you again to Cristina and Ollie from Bray Cottages.

Our family had the privilege of staying in the Tiggers Cottage in June 2022. The five of us absolutely loved the amenities and Bray. Ollie went out of his way to help us schedule transportation, as well as a river cruise on the Thames, and a babysitter for the children when we went to the Fat Duck. These cottages are well taken care of and Ollie and Co. put a lot of effort into your stay and it shows.

We had a wonderful stay at Christmas Cottage. The service was exceptional with Christina going out of her way to make sure we had exactly what we needed and even after our stay posting out a lost item. Cannot recommend enough. Good people, great services, lovely accommodation.

Stayed in Christmas Cottage - wonderful accommodation unit - excellent host who went the extra mile to make our stay a truly memorable one - everything was as described and several requests outwith the norm were actioned - a great ‘’Service Motivated’ facility which I will certainly be revisiting: A big thank you to Cristina and team - keep up the good work.
