Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our first family holiday with a 10 month old. We were pleasantly surprised landing at 311 1st avenue, it was more than I could've hoped for. Ideal location so we could take a stroll to bridlington Harbour otherwise the beach is a few minute walk, and what a lovely clean beach it is.
As others have mentioned, there is a period of growth currently and there is building work ongoing. In regards to amenities, I did think it was lacking on site and a food court would make a killing but we were happy to eat out or order a takeaway. There is plenty to do locally; we went swimming, to Sewerby Hall on a little train (North line, picked up outside the leisure centre) and candy Kingdom soft play for little one
The chalet was lovely, not cheap and had plenty of lovely homely touches (I've ordered the same coffee maker now I'm home). There was wine, biscuits, hot chocolate, soaps etc. Tv in every room. I moved ornaments to save any damages. I believe the chalet can be let out to dogs but we did keep encountering hairs which again is no issue, as we don't have allergies.
I did find it quite noisy at night with people leaving the car park next to the site or coming back late (I have no issue with people having a good time but just if people with young children trying to sleep are aware) it certainly wouldn't put me off rebooking.

This is the third time I've stayed on this site since been an adult it's certainly not the same as when I was younger & it's a shame, we was talking to a member of staff & they was telling us that the newish owners TINGDENE don't want any amenities on-site so the shop is closing down at the end of this year, the chippy is closing down can't remember when & the amusement arcade is closing down in 2yrs also I think the cafe is going too as they are knocking down all these & putting chalets in. It's such a shame as the pub closed down last yr I think it was and I personally think holiday sites need these amenities. South Beach is beautiful & on the doorstep of South shore which is excellent. South shore holidaymakers can use all the amenities on South Cliff across the Rd but due to them having 2 sites you are limited to seating also their is a Marstons pub up the main Rd where kids are allowed in until 10pm but ring & book first as we wasn't told to book when making enquiries so got turned away 😪

Fantastic place, right near the beach, April Moorehouse and her chalets are amazing, chalets are spotlessly clean and cozy, like home from home. Site is clean with lots to do for kids and dog friendly.
Do not use chalet 255, it is a disgrace, I would not leave my dog in it!! Contact for photos!!

We have just had a four night stay in Chalet 91A.It was a lovely little chalet very clean and well equipped. It was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 children age 4 and 7. The shop had all the essentials the chippy was fab and the kids loved the play park and arcade. The beach is only a 5 min walk and is stunning we spent hours on there. There is a happy train from the park and ride car park which is a 10 min walk and takes you along the sea front into near enough the centre of Bridlington it cost £8 return for the four of us and took away the hassle of driving into brid and is fun for the kids. Highly recommend staying here. The chalets garden was lovely to sit in whilst eating our breakfast and tea and was very pretty at night with the solar lights.

Arrived and collected key all went smoothly. Chalet was clean but not spotless. This chalet was very dated and furniture very well worn . The bed I had was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on with plastic covers on pillows matress and actually on duvet inside the duvet cover so made you sweat and felt like the bed was damp all night. I know this may have been due to covid 19 but they should of used proper protectors not cheap plastic bags or even just washed all bedding between visits. All in all for the price we payed could have got much better updated chalet will not be staying in 204 again. I Would definitely stay at the holiday village again beautiful beach theres a good pub couple of shops couple of fish chips shops kids park and amusement all now open and Bridlington itself is not to far

We stayed at 29 Third Avenue and we absolutely loved it. The Chalet was well equipped and very cosy and clean. It was very close to the beach and other amenities. You could see the Sea from the Chalet and it was also south facing. The Owner - Joanne was always on hand if you needed her and has always been super friendly. I would definately recommend this Chalet and will most definately been returning xx

My friend & I booked 144 Pebbles, 1st Avenue, South Shore Holiday village for three nights. We took our dogs & had a great time! It was walking distance to the beach 🏖️ and just a brilliant beach too (Wilsthorpe). We also visited Fraisthorpe & had a bite to eat in The Cow Shed. We visited Bempton Cliff’s & saw two Puffins! 🥰 we walked into Bridlington (not far at all) & had a ride on the Land Train 🚂 😆😀☺️😉 We really enjoyed our stay in Pebbles, it has a fully equipped kitchen, heating if you need it, the electricity is actually very cheap!!! I was a bit concerned about the coin meter, however, when we arrived, Debbie had ensured there was credit already in, & there was! We only needed to put a few pounds in & no problem! 😉 Pebbles is a great location for many things x

We’ve been to 3 of mags chalets and honestly we love them all. But Bae View is so close to the beach you can see the sea whilst having breakfast in the garden. It’s spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfortable I’d of liked to take it home😂. There is everything you want in the chalet and even feeding bowls for your furry friends. If you want a home from home near the beach and Bridlington this is the place to come. Can’t wait to be back in July 😊

Owner has issues with booking.com and wants me to pay cash on arrival. When I explained that was not possible because booking.com have already taken my money and there is no cancellation policy on the option i made.
Tried to explain to the owner but he/she became abusive and told me not to turn up.
As though it's my fault ...?
Anyhow never again ever...beware of booking.com also..still trying to get a refund.

This is our second time staying here, first was last November, and we can not fault it at all. The owners are amazing and the chalet is lovely and clean and has everything you need.
The park is having building work near the front, but that did not spoil our week. There are no facilities on the site, but you can use the facilities on the site literally 2 mins away, which is no problem. Arcade, club with two bars and a chippy. Had no issues at all in Nov and this break. We most definitely will be re booking in the future.
