Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here a few times and always enjoy our stay.. However prices have increased 60 for twin room.. In our room shower didn't work properly in someone else room they have problems with beds. You have to be out by ten in morning make sure you are we nipped out for breakfast as it not included came back to collect bags and all room doors were propped open and our balongings were still in room including phone ect not very safe!! It looks like it been painted on the outside think it needs a bit of face-lift in the bedrooms... Shame really as previous stays we never had a problem..

Quick one night stay here it was fine, hotel is clean, warm, comfortable and very good value for money.
Top location right in town centre steps away from plenty of pubs, places to eat and town amenities. Street noise was only issue but central location makes it unavoidable.
All in all a good stay and would definitely book again if visiting Bridlington in the future.

Stayed one night with a friend. Made booking at last minute and no problems; the check in was quick and efficient, handled by the very friendly woman behind the bar downstairs. The room was fairly basic but well finished, clean and bright, with a bit of storage for clothes. The en-suite bathroom was fine but the shower constantly ran scorching hot then cold.

the location is good for central Bridlington but 9although we had no problems) could, potentially be a bit noisy at night.

Overall a good value stay for the odd night and a bar with good real ales and friendly staff downstairs, was a bonus.

Appreciate the Manager/Owner is trying to make a go of it in difficult times but the room was simply not worth the £80 charge with no breakfasts. It was a very basic 'workman' type twin room with a serious musty/stale smoke odour and heavily stained carpet. We were there for one night and checked out at 5.30am as did not want to stay any longer. At £40.00 we might have said at least it was a bed, but at £80 we feel robbed. Never again...

To be honest I have never stopped in a place as worse, £75 a night, maybe should have been half that. Room was small, dirty, duvet had fluff hanging out of the bottom of it, no hot water, ran it for ages, ya sat on the toilet and it all moved, didn't even shower, cos of mould round the base. Carper looked like it had been cut with scissors to fit in the room. Also odd stains on it.
Bar area was decent, barmaid very
Plesent and chatty, bar shut round 9.30pm, so had to go elsewhere. I'm not one for ripping hotels, I have stopped in many in my time, but I'm sorry this place needs money spending on the rooms to get to a good standard, I've paid this kind of money in other hotels and they have been at a good standard. So it's the 👎 for me, avoid.

Stayed for 2 nights. We had 3 rooms, 1 double and 2 twins. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy. The price is more than fair. Drinks prices are very reasonable, and the pub is a traditional type English old school type.

Great, warm friendly place to stay and very close to the promenade and beach activities, my Daughter loved staying here with me. Bev is a great landlord and is very friendly host. We stayed in room 4 which had a nice view down the high street with a
Large bay window with plenty of sunlight.

Room smelled terrible, damp and mouldy. En suite smelled of cigarettes and even had a burn on the floor. Went to the shop and bought air freshener, but didn't help much. Celing looked like it was going to fall down on me at any time. Bedding old and very worn. Towels discoloured and hard has a board. Expected basic, but there is a difference between basic and clean. Wouldnt put anything in cupboards, dirty inside. Room wasn't fit to be let out.
