Home and Away Guesthouse (previously The Marina) is family-owned and run, located in the seaside town of Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
When you stay with us, we offer:-
- clean, comfortable, spacious rooms
- welcoming hospitality
- assistance to carry your bags
- daily room service
Ideal location:-
- 1 minute walk to the South Beach waterfront
- 4 minutes walk to the Bridlington Spa
- 5 minutes walk to cafes and restaurants
Unfortunately our kitchen does not have commercial cooking facilities therefore we cannot offer breakfast. However we plan to provide breakfast in the future.
At Home and Away Guesthouse, all of our rooms include:-

We stayed at the home and away guest house on Saturday 11th November. Me and my wife had a wonderful stay and Theresa the owner is a wonderful person. From the moment we got there to the moment we left she couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are very nice and the beds are so comfortable plus tea and coffee making facilities plus a mini fridge as well. If you’re looking for a guest house to stay in Bridlington this is the place to stay. We will definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else now when we come back to Bridlington. We had a lovely stay, very comfortable, pleasant and reasonably priced. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was ideal, central for town, beach and harbour.The hosts were friendly. We would stay again. Thank you.

All you could want from a Guest House. Clean, friendly owners, comfy bed, peaceful and all the bits and bobs you need. Recommended. Owners Teresa and Howard are new to this business too and after feedback but i really couldn't suggest anything to improve my experience.

First and probably not last visit here, handily placed just off front near the spa. Free on street parking. 1st floor room 1, ample size with comfy bed, decent shower/toilet room. Handy fridge if needed. No food included here so took a few porridge pots and fruit. No takeaways allowed in rooms which is understandable. Room and decor seemed a bit dated, nowt that a lick of paint couldn't sort out but a nice place in the main and would use again.

Its the one thing I can trust when I stay at Bridlington and the standards. Room, hotel and people never faulter. Highley recommended that if you can get in. Normally fully booked. Beds are cumfy and great , we sleep well there. Provisions ect all okay and available.

We have stayed at the Marina on a number of occasions and always been satisfied with the welcome, the comfy rooms and please t staff, we stayed in the last week of March for my birthday and although it was early in the season we found plenty to do. I'd like to thank the owners for the surprise gift I was give when they found out we were staying around my birthday, thanks again and I hope to see you again soon.

Great hosts and location in an excellent position. The room was spotless and had a lovely comfy bed, the shower was good as well. Tea, Coffee etc, tissues, hair dryer ,electric fan and a safe which you don't get at many places. Would recommend it for sure.

Good value guest house well located for harbour and old town. No groups and no kids means it is quiet. Bridlington has a charm of its own if you scratch deep but it is well located for Bempton and Flamborough. Parking on road is never much of a problem even at weekends.
