We visited the marina for 2 weeks in august ,we wasn't sure about going with covid lurking about ,but we needn't have worried we felt completely safe ,as we arrived the reception had hand sanitizers on entry and exit there was a screen up our key had been sanitized and left wrapped in our room and hand sanitizer in the room ,everything was clean and all the usual things were in place that we love ,clean towels free wi fi ,tv and dvd player a safe ,tea and coffee facilities everything u need .The hosts are friendly and can offer advise to where you can go or eat out or places to visit .the seafront is a 2 min walk where you can enjoy the views ,richies cafe for good meals and drinks ,or the spa theatre for any shows etc .a short walk will take you to the harbour and town centre with lots of eating out places and shops or market stalls to enjoy .if you visit brid be sure to book the marina guest house ,you wont find better and will have a lovely nights sleep in the comfy beds it really is like from home to home

We stayed for a week in August '20 and loved every minute of it! This is our second stay at the Summerfield and cannot recommend it highly enough. Sue and David are wonderful hosts, the guest house is absolutely spotless and the breakfasts are the stuff of legend!! We plan on staying again next year, and would advise anyone planning a trip to Brid to try and book in at the Summerfield. Ten out of ten from us.

We stayed for 2 nights last month for our anniversary and we LOVED it! David and Sue are lovely, and even left us a card and a box of chocolates in the room for our anniversary. It was lovely and clean, the room was pretty and the mattress soft. Absolutely perfectly placed, too. 5-10 minute walk from the centre and a few seconds from the sea front! We will most definitely be returning. Thanks guys!
