Visited Doriam guest house for the first time ,7th - 9th Feb 2020, what a fabulous place this really is , a home from home with value for money, lovely comfortable warm welcoming rooms and great home made cooking .
Amy made our stay exceptional due to her fabulous management from booking ,catering for our every needs ,nothing too much trouble , on arrival her welcome was lovely , giving the whole family a warm welcome in windy rainy February.
The rooms were welcoming ,beautiful decor and all the creature comforts you would expect from home , the food was amazing with everything you could ask for on the breakfast table .
This guest house has an Amazing location just minutes walk from the sea front , all cafe ,bars and shops , yet quiet ,for a peaceful nights sleep to chill and relax .
Amy we thank you for a fabulous weekend for us to make our family memories.

Wishing you all the best for the future we hope to return

Sandra , Steve and Ben

From the moment we arrived we was made to feel really welcome by Amy and Ian. Nothing is to much trouble, the rooms were spotless with toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. The location is really good just a few minutes from harbour with on street parking with a permit. Breakfast is really good with a good selection to choose from. There is cosy bar just a perfect way to finish day. We stayed for 4 nights and felt well and truly spoilt when we left and will definitely be returning.

The location is excellent very central to everything. You get a permit for your car and Amy and Ian couldn't be nicer and are very approachable. The Doriam is lovely and clean and with covid19 measures in place e.g. Hand sanitizer in place and staggered breakfasts so you feel safe. The full english breakfast was amazing not at all greasy and you can request what you want. You have tea and coffee facilities in your room and beds are very comfortable. Would stay again.

We stayed here for three nights on a short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Amy who took us to our room where there were two small bottles of Prosecco chilling in an ice bucket as a gift for our anniversary, a lovely and much appreciated touch.

We stayed in Room 5, which is a large room with a settee in it so plenty of space to relax in. Bathroom is a good size and there was also a good sized wardrobe a very comfortable bed, a flat screen TV and digital radio. Bed lined and towels were very good quality.

The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel, Amy was very friendly and welcoming (unfortunately we didn't get to meet Ian) and also very approachable and happy to help with any requests. The ample cooked breakfast was excellent and fresh coffee is also available at breakfast (I always need coffee in the morning)

There are several pubs, bars, cafes and places to eat close by to the hotel, which also has it's own bar.

The hotel is well positioned being just a two minute walk from the harbour and both the North and South Beaches. It's about a five minute walk from the train station and about fifteen minutes from the bus station. There are regular trains to Filey and Bempton and an hourly bus service to Flamborough, which also goes to Sewerby Hall. The hotel therefore makes a good base to explore both Bridlington and surrounding places.

The many good reviews this hotel has are well deserved and if we return to Bridlington we won't hesitate to book again

As soon as we arrived at the Doriam, we received a really warm welcome from Amy, who runs the guest house. She made us feel at home immediately. Our first impression of the Doriam Guest House was of how clean and tidy it was, as was our room. Though small, it suited our needs and was just perfect. The bed was so comfy and we slept really well. Surprisingly, the road was really quiet, even though it was very close to the sea front and theatre.
Breakfast was superb - and more than adequate. There was a lovely selection of cereals and fresh fruit, including pastries, and the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious (especially the scrambled egg).
Amy was the perfect hostess and we would not hesitate to go back to the Doriam if ever we are in Bridlington again.

We are currently staying here, so I thought I would share a view of the place while very fresh in my mind.
Room is very clean and has everything you could need.
Fresh fluffy towels, dressing gowns, face flannels, lovely tea tray with hot chocolate, cappuccino, biscuits.
Bed very comfy with electric blanket incase you get a bit chilly(never used it as room so warm and cosy). Lovely fluffy pillows.
There is a booklet with all the details in of the guest house and places to eat that have been recommended by guests.
Places to visit, very informative.
The breakfast is honestly one of the best we have had. Cooked to perfection fantastic choice and all fresh and very tasty.
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bridlington.
Amy is a brilliant host friendly, welcoming and nothing is to much trouble.

Our first break since the end of lockdown and we couldn't have chosen a nicer place to stay. Conveniently located 5 mins max to the harbour and south beach with ample of road permitted parking nearby.
The room was perfectly adequate for our stay. (after Amy got the TV to work 😉).
A great touch is the cellar bar, ideal for a last drink before heading up to bed.
Breakfasts are just simply fantastic. Will definitely stay here when we return to Brid.

Just returned from fab four days at this lovely hotel.
Amy & Ian made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was spotlessly clean. Wide choice of excellent breakfast, especially the selection of fresh fruit and perfectly cooked 'full English'.
Doriam is ideally located for all attractions Bridlington has to offer, very short walk to beach, harbour and town centre.
The cellar bar has a great atmosphere and we enjoyed lots of laughs in the evening.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning in the not too distance future
