Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Bay Ridge Hotel or Guest House is a friendly, warm and caring place ,, the staff themselves are very helpful , very kind and very approachable. The area is clean and cozy to stay especially on the receiving room and reading room. The room and bathroom we stayed are clean and nice . Its complete of items that we need. Coffee and Milk tray condiments are also inside the room. There is a pre-order system of breakfast which is good and also they serve meals or dinner/tea foods which is also a pre-order system,,, and take note its delicious especially the dessert. There are selection of cereals and fruits on a breakfast,, I love it. The security system is also fantastic.
The price for stay including the bread and breakfast is quite reasonable price. Staff always greet you and smiles at you every time we go down for our breakfast and when we arrive from along stroll day walk. The place itself is just walking distance from the beach or sea shore ,, about 3 mins walk only. From the place (Guest House) to the city center about 10 to 15 mins walk.
Our experience or stay in Bay Ridge Hotel is Fabulous,,,,highly recommended for holiday makers or travelers who wants to experience the Bridlington town or area.
NB: we stayed from 1st to 4th of October, 2023.

On arrival we were greeted by the hosts Ben and Joe and straight away were offered a hot drink. We were given room 4 which has twin beds and a lovely new en-suite massive shower.During our stay we had no reason to moan about anything what ever we needed it was no trouble what so ever for Ben and Joe. If your planing on losing any weight wilts your there, forget it, the choice of food any the portion size is the best we have had for many years. We can now understand why people keep going back there , we will back as soon as my waist line has shrunk a bit, once again thanks very much for a wonderful stay

My husband had stayed here with his mother and said it had been excellent.
So I booked it for his birthday first surprise had to pre order breakfast.
Rooms as per website had shampoo shower gel.
We had one bath gel between us.
We went to the pre ordered breakfast it was tasteless so we decided to leave after breakfast and go home having paid in full We were out of pocket but secure in mind.

Just got back from a 2 night stay, Cannot fault anything about this hotel, everything about the stay was perfect. Our room was a good size and nicely furnished and very clean as was the bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Breakfast was lovely and very well organized with plenty of choice. Ben and Jo and their staff were very welcoming and I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent breakfasts which set us up for the day. Good location with easy access to to town and harbour. It was good for an early morning walk as it was so close to the prom. Good location for easy access to birding sites.
