Went to Bridlington for Race the Waves and a Steampunk weekend. Anne and Lisa were great nothing was to much trouble! The hotel was very comfortable, clean and cosy. We had a very good breakfast on both mornings.

This hotel is advertised as Pet Friendly. I can assure you it certainly isn't. We booked for one night and when we arrived the proprietor scowled at us and was very blunt and far from welcoming and told us that they don't accept big dogs but as we were there now she would allow us to stay. There is nothing on the website to say that big dogs were not allowed. I am only talking about a Labrador not a Great Dane or Newfoundland. Not the best of starts. Then she went onto say that breakfast was between 8.30 and 9.00 am. She told us no dogs were allowed in the dining room and dogs were not allowed to be left in the room whilst we had breakfast. There appeared to be no provisions for you dogs whilst you had breakfast. Not experienced this in any other pet friendly hotel. She suggested that we leave them in the car whilst we had breakfast - don't think so. Was so disappointed. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone even without dogs. So we ended up paying for our breakfast at a local café even though we had already paid in the cost of the hotel room. When checking out she asked if we were having breakfast and I told her no as we weren't prepared to leave the dogs in the car. I told her I was very disappointed as she had advertised the hotel as pet friendly yet no provisions for them whilst we had breakfast. Suddenly we could have breakfast in a dirty dingy little space under the stairs. Told her to forget it.

Lovely time. Beautiful views from our room. Yummy breakfast served hot and fresh. I’m fed up of buffet breakfasts. Tea piping hot which is always a bonus. Our caverpoo had a great time. Dog beach just opposite hotel. It’s away from main drag but only 15 mins walk to all restaurants and attractions. Will definitely book this hotel next time. Thank you Ann and your staff.
