We stayed for 2 nights in july, room spacious enough for family of 4 and a dog plus a cage, beds ok and comfy enough, but kettle, cups, spoons were dirty, also in the toilet the loo brush was disgusting on view and slight mould in the shower, wardrobe was dusty inside and handle missing, so we kept everything in the case rather than use the storage available. The room itself smelt pleasant enough but the entrance hall has a very off smell as you enter the building so that’s abit of a put off. We only ate breakfast on the first morning as there was old food and fluff and grease on the milk jug and toast rack and in my orange juice glass which I only noticed after drinking half, in the time with covid I would just maybe expect stuff to be extra clean rather than extra dirty. We were also kept awake until 4am the first night due to the drunk guests next door between 11pm and 3.45am but no apology or even asked how we got on. The couple who owns the business seem lovely and it’s great that’s it’s dog friendly but we wouldn’t consider coming back until the place has been updated and they just brush up on the washing up skills

You certainly get what you pay for here, it was half the price of other guest houses, boy we got stung. We booked a family room and for a cot. (two adults & toddler)

walking into the main foyer a deep musky smell of dogs & grease hits you. The male owner was lovely and friendly and handed us our key and told us which stair to go up and which room number. He also told us to be careful of some of the steps which laid at odd heights. Got to our room (12) on second floor, seemed ok at first and so we wondered out as planned.

We got back and realised no cot and was no sign of the owners in the foyer area.
We couldn't let our toddler sleep in a bed for the night due to wires, plug socket and aerial outlet within reach above it. Couldnt be near another wall due to a sink being there and the BIGGEST CONCERN was a window at toddler height which opens wide out to a sheer drop to the street 3 storeys below!! the window didnt lock, the handle didnt work, it was faulty and very easy for a toddler to open!!!! We resulted in bringing the pushchair up and strapped our toddler into it to sleep for peace of mind and his safety!

I noticed my pillow smelt of mens aftershave as if it hadnt been washed, and come morning it became more and more apparent to there being a hygiene issue. dust on the top of the curtains and on the window side they had mould spots. sink was clean except the plug which had a mini eco system going on, the toothbrush holder was an odd one, the cup part was cleaned but the bracket was a dusty dirt. the kettle was dusty on the lid which led to us in looking inside which was clean inside. the shower door had a build up of dirt along the rims. toilet clean but had to clean away someones dried on snot which was on the wall above the loo roll holder.

We did have a breakfast and they didnt seem to provide a highchair so struggled again with a toddler so my husband fetched the pushchair!! breakfast seemed ok and didnt have any issues with. Thank god this place was close to the beach area so our toddler could play as normal because our room was not safe for him to do so.

We wouldnt book here again due to the hygiene and safety issue in the family room.

Not a bad location, very central for Bridlington, the parking was convenient which meant we could leave the car and not have to pay for parking anywhere. We had the family room and we were allowed to take the dog which was great. The weather was hot so the ceiling fan came in handy as we really needed it. The breakfast was lovely and nothing too much trouble.

I expected a "basic, no frills" room, which suited me. I did not bargain for the fact that the standard of cleanliness fell far below the minimum level for a squat! I had hoped this would be restricted to the room, toilet and shower but, alas, it included the bed and bedding. I took 55 photographs of the filth. I declined the full English, or any breakfast at all in fact - the thought of what the kitchen was like made me nauseous.
I had no transport of my own, and was unable to relocate as there were no vacancies within my price range. I am 74 living solely on my pension (a fact, I am not looking for sympathy) so have no spare cash to fritter away.
The owners make false claims of a bar and bar meals - they are non-existent and always have been apparently; that the complimentary drinks are replenished daily; that, on the day of departure, guests are requested to vacate the room by 10am to allow for cleaning.
This place needs to be inspected in order to either have it condemned, or the owners be forced to keep a reasonable house that is not a health hazard. I was in room 1.

We stayed overnight in the family suite - 2 women, 3 girls and two babies under 1! Each room was spacious enough, clean and bright. The owners were extremely helpful - even arranging for some cool boiled water to be available when we returned from our day out so I could feed the baby. Breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and attentive. We loved our stay. Thank you!

Unfortunately we won't be coming back. White towels were rough, old and stained with what looked like motor oil, couldn't use them. Mug stained and teaspoon dirty with coffee on. The breakfast was ok, no cereal just English cooked breakfast. Server was nice and friendly. Rooms need severely updating and decorating, wardrobe dusty on top, kettle has seen better days, dirty drawers with what looks like tobacco. Pillows and duvets had to be used but they were heavily stained, smelt of wee on the last night. No chair to sit on. Owner needs to smile, maybe receive some training in customer service to enable the guest house to have some atmosphere. This could be a very nice place, if time was spent on updating, maintenance and cleaning. Floorboards raised and wobbly and a nail sticking out in the bathroom lino. I realise the economic climate is currently shot, but to receive the money you charge, it needs to reflect. The house was warm! I dont like writing bad reviews, so I aim this to be constructive, for the future.

Booked here for one night with one other family, we had 3 rooms booked. We left after seeing the state of the room & bedding. Furniture & skirting boards thick of dust, brown stains on all pillows & duvets, shower dirty, toilet brush looked 10years old disgusting! As soon as you walked in all you could smell was smoke & grease. Owners not much cleaner only they will beg to differ! Never been in anywhere as dirty. Avoid this place. Even 12 yr old wanted to leave now that’s saying something!

3 couples stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend. We had the family suite on the top floor. Check in was pleasant with the owner being a very friendly man. The rooms were a little dated but adequate for 2hat we wanted and would stay again. The breakfast each morning was lovely and plenty of it the service was spot on and the owner and his helper could not do enough for us each morning. Would I stay again. Yes in a heartbeat
