We had a nice time at this hotel. It is not a luxury hotel but you do not pay luxury prices. The rooms were warm and cosy with lovely comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovely they had anything you could hope for. The staff seem to do everything from check in to serving in the bar and making up the rooms,... More

On arrival on a Sunday I was advised that there was no restaurant and that if I walked up the road there were restaurants. I was told that my room was up the stairs on the left. I had two bags and am useless on stairs. There was no offer to help so I had to make two trips. I... More

Having read the reviews I was a little nervous but left thinking that people seem to put bad reviews because a £50 a night hotel hasn't laid on five star silver service for them. It's easy to find, has parking, is right near a tube station within easy reach of central London and provides a clean & comfortable bed for... More

The Tudor lodge may be old, but it has an ultra efficient heating system. The water is piping hot and we had to open the windows overnight to stop us from sweating. Sadly the restaurant was closed when we visited, but having eaten here before I hope that will change soon. The work being carried out on the building's roof... More

Arrived at the hotel (which had scaffolding all around it) late evening having travelled from the Midlands for a one night stay. Booking in was quick and efficient but I was advised there was no restaurant facilities Mon - Friday which was disappointing having been looking forward to diner. My main problems however, started when I went to the room... More

Stayed here while visiting my nephew for one night. The hotel is a lovely 500 year old building which retains most of it's old character. Unfortunately the room decor was nearly as old! But it was clean, just a bit tired and could do with refurbishment but for the price was good value for the location, they have a newer... More

My father passed away recently. In 2012 after my mothers funeral we retired to Tudor Lodge with family and friends and it worked well, so we looked to repeat the experience. I live in Norfolk, so it made sense to book a room so we were on the spot for the day of the funeral. When I arrived there was... More

I've stayed here a few times but that decision's entirely because of locality, not the pleasure of the stay. The hotel's one of the few in the area & it gives me the impression that the management don't need to try too hard because of it. I ended up with a luxury double, in the annex, for £99 - the... Four of us stopped at The Tudor Lodge overnight as we were going to Wembley stadium to watch England. The hotel is in a perfect location for Wembley, it is a short ten minute walk to the tube station followed by a short journey around 6 stops to the stadium. The staff were friendly, the room was nice and the... More

The Tudor Lodge is a traditional BnB. Door at the front within which is located a reception. Friendly staff. Bar for a late drink and full English breakfast. Ok for overnight stay whilst visiting London by tube. Tube station about 5 minutes away by foot.
