Still as quirky as ever and a little dated BUT my room was good. I requested a single room with bath and on arrival had been allocated a double with bath for the same price. Large room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning a hot buffet and very high standard as ever.

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel during a recent visit. Initially allocated a room in the main hse, we were underwhelmed. Very small rm, cold & noisy as it fronted onto a busy main rm. In fairness this is a very old bldg, poss listed, so some restrictions MAY apply. We upgraded & were allocated a perfectly decent...

I really wasn't expecting much when booking for new years eve because all I needed was a bed, the Hotel looked ok on the web site BUT when I got there it was revolting! The room was shoddy, the bed spread had really nasty stains on it, which when I took to reception and complained was dismissed with disdain and...

When we made our booking, months ago, we asked to stay in the modern block. We have stayed there before and found it acceptable. When we arrived this request had not been passed on and we were given room 2 in the main building. This building is very old - the floor in the room slants significantly - the door...

Well what can I say. This hotel should be avoided if you value your and your families health. We booked online via late rooms and got what i thought was a good deal... was £79 for a night for 2 with breakfast. I have attached some images of the bathroom which was shocking.
