Booked one night pre-flight with 14 days parking and a room overlooking the runway for £193. Very pleased with the deal. You simply park your car right by the hotel and that is where it stays. Room was excellent. Triple glazing meant no noise from passing planes. Bathroom was spotless. Bed was comfortable. In the morning the 'transportation desk' found us a taxi very quickly. On our return our taxi was able to drive right to the car and put the cases in the boot. Everything was easy - apart from slight difficulty finding the hotel in the dark in heavy rain. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a solid place to stay by the airport. The staff is very friendly, there are good options for food in the hotel (although not outside the hotel), and the rooms are clean. The hotel is very large, and it seems like you’re walking down an endless hallway with many rooms, so be prepared to walk.

To get to this hotel from LHR, you’ll have to take a the Hoppa bus, which costs a few pounds. The schedule isn’t very frequent, so you can wait up to 30 minutes. Also, the London city red buses are free and run more frequently. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and there are a few bus routes that serve this location. The hotel one stop away from Central Heathrow between Terminals 2 and 3.

This is the hotel that we pick each time before we fly out of Heathrow Airport. An historic but renovated venue that was once the first terminal building for the airport is still overlooks closely today. We are now regular customers and here is why: The hotel is served by Heathrow area free buses directly from the airport bus station at T2/T3 and has a large car park. The hotel offers park and fly packages when booking direct. This hotel is just perfect if you want to be close to Heathrow Airport at 10 to 15 minutes away from T2, T3 and T5 and 15 to 20 minutes away from T4. And perfect if you like the excitement and views of one of the busiest airports in the world.

Like other local airport hotels, the Renaissance charges for your car at £15 per day. But the hotel is consistently excellent in every other way. Just needs a Spa/Pool :) to go official 5 star! Reception staff attentive, friendly and stress free. Quick check in and check out. A transport desk based in reception will arrange nice hotel taxis to the terminal for around £15.

We always stay in a runway view executive room with lounge access. Just excellent! Rooms are spacious with large double beds and fantastic close views of one of Heathrow runways. Extremely clean, functional, and quiet (thanks to the thick windows). Usual amenities, large TV, even cotton buds and flannels. This hotel does not miss much when making our stay a home from home experience. Room service is available or you can pop down to an inviting bar and restaurant.

Now, if you get bored of watching the close landing or taking off aircraft from the executive room, you can go to the lounge located on the same (3rd) floor. And watch more close aircraft. Again, we was met with attentive, friendly staff in a relaxed environment. The lounge offers usual lounge stuff but to a very high and consistent standard. A perfect start (or finish) to any holiday/vacation.

We have stayed here a few times now and most recently in November 2019 and before a long haul trip just before Christmas 2019. The busy time of year didn’t alter the good level of service we had previously experienced.

This is our Heathrow Airport choice by far and we will be returning again on 25/01. We can’t wait!
Thank you Renaissance!

Stayed at this hotel as a test for staying in a hotel during the lockdown. The room was ready early and checking was a smooth operation. Not sure what I was expecting with room perhaps a very antiseptic smelling clean but it was just a acceptable regular room with some areas which really needed some detail cleaning . TV remote ,phone and some of the furniture had a layer of dust which I probably I would not have noticed but these are strange times . The bar area was a controlled wait to be seated sign and all staff wearing ppe ,all orders taken at your allocated table with no service at the bar.
Breakfast again was allocated seating with staff taking orders for hot food ,although there is a buffet continental breakfast selection where you were requested wear gloves ,(which were provided )to make your selection . At times I noticed customers making their selection at the buffet without wearing the provided gloves or wearing masks , we would have liked staff to point out this but this was sadly lacking. Overall the visit wasn’t too bad but if they want customers to have confidence in the product they need to up their game in these strange times .

Stayed here for a second time and as usual the stay was really good.

Rooms- Always consistently good love the fluffy pillows, the bed is large and mattress comfy. The showers are powerful though bathrooms are on the smaller side. If you want extra pillows or towels you can order on the app it’s handy.

Food- Breakfast was included in the room rate, we knew it was not going to be good during corona times. The buffet was being served by the chef and they had a small continental selection self serve with gloves provided. However no pastry’s and very small selection so had I had paid for breakfast I would not have been happy
As I believe you should get what you pay for. The hot options were nicely cooked and we did not leave hungry. The only suggestion is for management to ensure barista coffee machine is up and running in time for breakfast as we went down at 8.30 and the machine was off so we had to wait 10 minutes or it was filter coffee which was not great tasting.

Service- Housekeeping do a good job and the receptionist staff are always so welcoming and polite. This is my favourite hotel on the bath road and would always be my first choice.

I would strongly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for just 1 night as a solo traveler. The hotel is pleasant with outstanding service from all staff. Check in and check out were a breeze. The room was spacious and comfortable. I stayed in a runaway view room and could not hear a noise from said runaway. I could however hear the TV from the room next door, rather disappointing. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed.
Room service menu was rather limited but the food was good, Room service breakfast was very good and perfectly cooked.
Tip, don’t use the expensive hoppa bus, local buses 105, 111, 140, 278 & 285 are free. Get off at the stop “Boltane lane”, the hotel is just across the road.

I stayed here one night before a early morning flight, I was not really intending to use facilities just wanted a comfortable nights sleep.

Check in was smooth and staff were polite and friendly, did have an issue with Air con in our room but we were moved swiftly and given a room with a view,

The rooms are very nice I love the color theme its very cozy , the beds are super comfortable the pillows are good. The room has everything you may need including a fridge, hair dryer etc. The only constructive criticism I would give is the bathrooms are in need of a update as they don't match the rooms which appear more modern, however bathrooms are still perfectly fine. I would also suggest they put more than 1 toilet roll, maintain the shower floors which are eroding. Although I knew it was erosion my partners first thought was it had not been cleaned properly, this may lead to people wrongly assuming its dirty when in fact its just discoloration. I still think this is one of the best hotels on bath road, offering value for money.

Staff all great never encountered any that were rude, I am not one to give 5 stars unless things are great but this was.

I will book here again on my next travel.

Cant comment on food I don't do breakfast during any pandemic as I like my spread laid out to choose, and the only offering was a cooked to order. There is a McDonalds 3 minutes away if you are on a budget for breakfast and dinner. Also note the 423 which stops outside takes you to T5 and there are more free busses servicing T1 ,2,3, These are free you don't need to stamp in and they are frequent.

Very comfortable hotel practically sitting on the runway, it's so close to the airport, but inside there is little noise from planes.

Great variety at breakfast with terrific coffee and a welcome obvious effort at reducing waste. For example, paper straws in the drinks and little refillable glass milk bottles.

The staff were invariably outstanding. Special thanks to Mesley Vas whose friendly attention to detail was very welcome by us after a terrible journey in a storm to get to the hotel. He made sure we had a terrifically relaxing evening.

I booked in here for a night before an early flight from Terminal 5 at Heathrow. There is a £15 charge for parking if you are a hotel guest and I believe you can leave the car for longer, however I was booked into a meet and greet parking at the terminal on the morning I was leaving.

Check in was quick and easy, I had booked on booking.com for about £100 for the night, which was quite competitive with other nearby hotels. My room was on the 3rd floor, I was asked if I wanted to pay to upgrade to a room overlooking the runway but I really cannot see the attraction of that. My room overlooked the Bath Road which runs adjacent to the north fence of Heathrow, and one of the things I noticed immediately was that the soundproofing and double glazing was very good.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was a large king size bed, a comfortable arm chair next to the bed as well as a desk/dressing table area. There was also a decent hot shower in the bathroom. The building is a bit dated and the furnishings in the room are slightly worn, but it was clean and everything worked. The hotel supplied a kettle, and tea and coffee. There was also a fridge where I put the empty bottles of water, if I had known it was there I might have brought a salad for dinner rather than having to order expensive room service.

The breakfast starts at 6 and is a buffet, offering a good range of breakfast foods including hot options and waffles. In conclusion this is a decent hotel if you are looking to stay near Heathrow Terminal 5. I believe there is a shuttle that you have to pay for in order to get to the airport. But I had my car. All in all this was a convenient and pleasant hotel to stay in.

I was happy when I was allocated the Renaissance Hotel as my quarantine hotel as I had heard good reports about it & I had stayed there overnight 2 years ago, on my return from Budapest. The bed was very comfortable, shower was large & had good water pressure & I had a phone call every day from reception, to check if I needed anything. It did seem as if a lot of thought had been given to the guests' comfort during our enforced quarantine stay. We were supplied with crockery & cutlery, wrapped in clingfilm & we washed our dishes with the washing up liquid supplied by the hotel. They also provided a tea towel, sponge, kitchen towel & disinfectant wipes. There was a mini fridge in the room & it was useful for storing milk, juice & water. The meals provided were a little heavy on carbs, but they were generally enjoyable. More than enough food & liquids, eg water, juice & flavoured water. I know it's difficult to cater under these conditions, but the Renaissance pulled it off pretty well. I skipped breakfast every day because there was just too much food & I wasn't able to walk as much as I normally would have. We were allowed out for 15 to 20 minutes at a time & I managed to go out 4 or 5 times a day. The exercise area was part of the parking lot in front of the hotel. Every time I wanted to go out I had to phone security & someone would fetch me from my room & escort me outside. Unusual circumstances, but the hotel & security staff were great. With such a long stay, we recognised each other after a few days & they always greeted me.There was good WiFi. I would return, but only in normal conditions.
