This privately run B&B is amazing....from the moment you get there you are treated as a real guest. Down a quiet road, yet not far from pubs and a village green. The pubs and village green all within walking distance of 3/5 minuets, At the end of the garden is the Thames so on a lovely sunny day you really...

My husband and I just stayed at Riverview in June 2013. We had just traveled in from the states and were not real sure what to expect. Oh my goodness! This place was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. We traveled for 2 1/2 weeks in England and Ireland - this was our favorite B&B the whole trip! Elaine (Hostess/Owner) had...

Breakfast was served in luxury style within a beautiful conservatory which opened to the waterside garden. River view Cottage is now our special bolt hole. Thank you Elaine...

The little touches make all the difference. Elaine and David were great hosts, even offering to drive us to the railway station as the recent weather was freezing cold...

Riverview cannot be faulted. Feeling secluded, but convenient for the area we wanted to explore, the cottage has everything you could ask for and a few luxuries you never though you needed. View - tick, friendly - tick, parking - tick, breakfast - tick, accommodation - enormous tick. The room was self contained, comfortable and well equipped. You might not...

I booked both rooms in the cottage well in advance for the night before my wedding. One for me and one for my bridesmaid. I confirmed with the owner that we would need the rooms til midday so that we could get ready for the wedding and told this wasn't a problem. We had a nice welcome on our arrival...

“We only used the ground floor, and only 2 rooms to choose from, i imagine both rooms to be equally as good. If their was a disadvantage the folks upstairs were quite noisy but cannot blame proprieters and may be booking the upstairs would be an advantage.”
