I spent two nights there with my husband and I should admit that we both liked it quite a lot. The design of the room was great, and the bed was super comfy. I loved having a coffee machine in the room. There were a few issues with cleanliness like dirty mugs on the tea tray and stains on the...

I live locally and often come here with friends and family. The food is usually very good and a good choice of drinks. The staff are always welcoming and there's a relaxed atmosphere. One member of staff in particular I find to be most helpful, quick to serve and works hard at her job is Abbie.

We booked three rooms on a Saturday night for a short break in London. The location is very convenient with a bus stop outside of the hotel. Unfortunately the trains weren't running this weekend but we managed to get by with a bus to Richmond. The hotel is very well decorated with lovely comfortable beds. Unfortunately the rooms are a...

Great place to stay. A little bit individual and the rooms are fantastic. Every room is slightly different in a fabulous way! Great choices for breakfast. Bar and restaurant are spacious and offer a good range. Lovely place to sit - modern and traditional at the same time. Always enjoy staying here. Would recommend.

Came and had an amazing roast with my family and was not disappointed. Although I did have food envy when the waiter walked past with a burger for someone else... I think I'll go for that next time. The food was served promptly but did not seem rushed and the atmosphere was very good too

We have been staying here a few times each year for the past 12 years and have enjoyed most of their rooms from the standard to the luxury with king sized bed. This time when we were quoted £195.00 for one night I was expecting to be put into one of their nicest rooms. This is the most we have...

Thank you for you feedback following your visit last weekend and I'm so sorry that you encountered difficulties. There cannot be any excuse for less than courteous behaviour from any member of our team and I will be looking further into this. All of our bedrooms were completely re modelled over the last 1.5 years and I'm therefore disappointed that...

Very comfortable "boutique" room. (Not really sure what that is supposed to be) with modern wet bathroom. Rainfall shower and rinsing wand. No bath. All well presented and clean. Nespresso coffee and a mix of specialty teas available along with a mini bar. Sky tv available but not sure of level of access. Although we were not significantly disturbed, the...

We were lucky enough to be given some tickets for a rugby game at Twickenham (very last minute) and even luckier to secure a booking for a room at the Alexander Pope. From the minute we arrived we were looked after by all the staff - thankyou. Breakfast was excellent and our lovely, huge room had a wonderful view over...

Stayed here for the 4th time while attending a game at HQ, as usual really enjoyed the stay, rooms are very well furbished and spacious and the food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast was spot on. Only grumbles were that they don't think a couple of little details through -we had booked a family room for 3, and...

Thank you for your feedback following your stay. I'm sorry that there were a some issues regarding numbers of towels and door keys. I will take this up with the team here. These details ought to have been addressed without delay and I'm deeply sorry this took longer than necessary. Overall I was delighted to learn that you enjoyed your...
