Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This B&B is probably in the top 5 of B&Bs we’ve stayed in.

A sensitive style in decor to a beautiful old lady grade II listed farmhouse (it has its quirks!), on a tidy and well run organic cattle and sheep farm, nestled far away (700 metres of flat tarmac) from any main road, you will find a very warm welcome from Liz.

An exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble for Liz, booking us into a local inn for dinner and guiding us to one of the best NT houses we’ve been to.

Her Cornish breakfast is legendary with everything fresh, locally sourced and perfectly cooked and full of that fresh cooked flavour. It also includes cereals fresh fruit etc.

The room was huge, with a super king sized bed and en-suite, plus a nice sofa where we read and watched tv for the day it rained ( yes it is the UK and yes there are somethings beyond Liz’s gift) the attention to detail is fantastic and the whole house is spotlessly clean. I mean spotless, with a truly homely feel and warm.

Highly recommended, lovely lady.

Give it a try

We stayed here in the Lakeside hut. It was an absolutely stunning, quiet and beautiful location. The hot tub was amazing and the shepherds hut was cosy and comfortable in the middle of winter. The little things provided made a huge difference, from the bottle of bubbles on arrival, the home baked shortbread biscuits to the sachets of make up remover in the bathroom cabinet. The owners couldn't do enough for us, but still manages to strike an amazing balance between being hosts to allowing us to enjoy the seclusion. Thank you Ellie and Jonny! We will be back!

Liz is an exceptional host. The B&B was immaculate, breakfast was fantastic and our room had everything we needed. The location was great for us and allowed us to travel to all the points of interest that we needed to. All facilities were great and clean. Wifi was good given Cornish speeds! Cannot recommend this place enough, hope to come and stay again soon.

We will remember our stay here for years to come. Once arriving along the stunning driveway past the lambs, we were warmly met by Liz, the wonderful host. The room was excellent with unique features of the farmhouse. Very comfy bed, lovely shower. The breakfast was very tasty with great local ingredients. Liz was also extremely helpful with recommendations on where to go! I cannot recommend this lovely B&B enough!!

This was the second visit to Reddivallen Farm and once again it was beyond fantastic! The room, breakfast, cleanliness, location, fishing lake and owner Liz cannot be faulted at all. Liz goes out of her way to do all she can to make the stay perfect, even offering lifts to the local restaurants if you fancy a drink. There is no doubt in my mind that I’ll be back next year, if not sooner.

Having stayed here, we’d thoroughly recommend a stay at Redivallen Farm. The room was clean, spacious and lovingly prepared for our visit by Liz the most perfect host. The choice at breakfast is excellent, who can resist a full Cornish made from high quality local ingredients? A nicely furnished lounge is available for use together with a lovely decked area where you can soak up the evening sunshine after your daytime exploits.

I really think they should consider raising their rates. Who can offer such perfection at such a nominal cost?! Liz can that's who. Our accommodation was spotless, well appointed and so comfortable. We could want for nothing. Breakfast was a menu of options and everything we had was perfectly cook. Thanks Liz! We'd love to come back.

Have just stayed here with my husband and it was beauty. The stay here is high quality and Liz was a lovely host. Will definitely be back. Thank you for having us! The bed was extremely comfy and location remote. Breakfast definitely 5 star worthy. No request was too much for Liz, she even dropped us off for dinner in the local town. Had a great weekend away here.

Beautiful guest house situated only a few miles from Boscastle/Tintagel.
We stayed in the Monks room for 2 nights and were very comfortable.
Liz was friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was fantastic with fresh local produce.
The overall location was so tranquil, we would love to return in the future.
