Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very comfortable room in a great location. All you could want from a B&B with very good food too. Good walks down to the harbour and lookout station but you would need a car to get out and about. Excellent host.

There's not much more that I can add to what others have already said. Jackie and her team were lovely, the room perfect and the breakfast excellent. It is a good location to explore the North cornish coast and a short drive to Tintagel Castle. Would recommend The Riverside restaurant in Boscastle itself for a special meal.

Big enough to manage small enough to care. Greeted with tea and coffee plus warm scones jam and cream. The rooms were big enough for our three night stay and included toiletries tea and coffee making facilities 4 bath towel we only used one each. Breakfast was preordered and cooked fresh each morning with tea coffee and toast. If you’re staying in North Cornwall you must consider the old Coachhouse.

Jackie and her team are excellent hosts, very welcoming and attentive. We were welcomed with a cream tea when we arrived! Their local knowledge was invaluable to enhance our stay. Our rooms and other parts of the house were spotless, beds very comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. It was the little touches that made all the difference: the lovely soaps, conditioners and handwash, chocolate snacks with an honesty box, fresh milk in the communal fridge where one can also keep wine or beer and tea/coffee facilities with wine glasses in the room.

Great BnB, Jackie was very welcoming & the breakfast was spot on. The room was exactly what you want in a BnB, modern, clean & well equipped. Boscastle is a very small, typical Cornish village & The Old Coach House is only a 10 minute walk to the centre. Completely enjoyed our stay.

It is a beautiful, tranquil place to stay. Lovely and clean. Jackie and her team are perfect hosts and also help with the advice of places to go and things to do. Breakfast was exceptional, cooked fresh and the quality of the items was second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend the Old Coach House if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Boscastle.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was small, small, no place to put the luggage. Breakfast was very good, especially the delicious local bread. Overall we found it a bit expensive looking at the other accommodation prices we paid in 3 and 4-star hotels.

We stayed for 2 nights while hiking on the South West Coast Path and had a lovely stay. The B&B is located in the higher part of Boscastle, which meant more walking for us, but is was more reasonably priced than the other accommodation options in Boscastle. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The room was bit a bit small (Minster), but we liked the fact that it was downstairs, which meant no more stairs after our long hike. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast options were good and tasty, and the packed lunch with fresh bread was also nice. The breakfast time was limited, and it didn't work for us on one day as we had to catch an early bus, but Jackie offered us sandwiches instead of breakfast, so that was great. There is some focus on sustainability; I think improvements can still be made to use less single use plastic, but I can understand that it's a difficult balance in order to meet some guests' expectations. Anyway, we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Boscastle.

We had a fabulous stay here! On our arrival Jackie welcomed us warmly with a cream tea. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Very nice cooked breakfast, also lovely yogurt available and cereals. A beautiful, fresh dining area. We highly recommend The Old Coach House. Wonderful place to relax and nothing was too much for Jackie and her staff. Will be back!!!
