Detailed Reviews
We stayed in Mill house (the 4 bedroom property that sleeps 8). Six of us from 15 - 77 years old stayed and were all very happy. It is a lovely quirky rustic conversion with all the modern convieniences you could want.
The accommodation was lovely, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need for your stay including wood, lighters and matches for the wood burner (not that we needed it at this time of year). The only think we could have asked for was a fan (for the few days the weather was in the 30s) but in all fairness they would probably only be needed for a couple of weeks in each year.
Gemma and Stuart are lovely, friendly hosts. They have only taken over the property this year but are already making their mark on the place. Lovely crisp linen and luxury towels and upgraded wifi are just some of their additions. The scones, cream and jam on arrival were a lovely touch.
One word of advice - the stairs in Mill House are quite steep. Anybody with mobility issues would be best to consider one of the other cottages most of which are on a single level (Gemma and Stuart kindly showed us around a couple of the other properties whilst they were vacant between guests).
The views outside the cottages are breathtaking. The cottages are located in a beautiful part of Cornwall where it is so quiet and peaceful. We wanted a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what we got.
We are already organising a return trip in a few months.

Visited our favourite holiday place in Cornwall again this week.
The cottages are set in a very quiet, beautiful area suitable for touring the West Coast of Cornwall.
Boscastle is a 45 minute walk away, 15min drive, Tintagel and Port Isaac are both a short drive away.
The cottages are all freshly decorated and modernised to a high standard and are very comfortable.
Dogs are welcome.
Well recommended.

We arrived in the evening and the cottage was very warm and welcoming, and there were even scones waiting for us. It's a lovely setting, with views to the sea, and it had everything that our family required. The hosts even went above and beyond to return items we left behind! I would thoroughly recommend these cottages.

Don't hesitate to book a holiday in these lovely, fresh, clean, well fitted out cottages.
They are very well situated in a beautiful part of North Cornwall that gives you easy access to Boscastle, Port Isaac (Doc Martin territory), Tintagel, Bodmin Moor and many other areas in this lovely part of Cornwall.
Sean keeps these lovely old cottages bang up-to-date with all mod cons whilst preserving their old charm and quaint appearance.
Never fails to give us a great restful holiday but with the option of a walk or two with plenty to choose from.

Stayed here for four nights, and it's the most beautiful, quiet, peaceful place I've ever stayed in. The views are gorgeous, the accommodation had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable. The hosts Stuart and Gemma are extremely friendly and helpful, and they left a lovely cream tea in the cottage for us, very grateful. Will definitely go back.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic week, staying in Mill House, the four bedroom house. It was spotlessly clean and the scones, jam and cream on arrival was a fantastic touch. #jamfirst as expected in Cornwall!
Four adults and two children both under two. The house was quirky and had all amenities including a washing machine. Stuart and Gemma were fantastic hosts. The views over the valley were stunning and the gardens, with play equipment, well manicured!
We’ll be back!

+1
Our final night in this incredible place (family and pets friendly) is bittersweet. We can't recommend it highly enough, especially because of the wonderful owners, Gemma and Stuart, who are such kind, welcoming, and friendly people. The cottage is stunning, equipped with everything you could need, and impeccably clean and cozy! We're truly sad to be leaving tomorrow, but we'll definitely be back soon. Thank you so much for everything, Gemma and Stuart ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely 400 year old cottage… it has a beautiful log burner, beautiful views, fabulous hosts who are really helpful. It is Dog friendly by prior arrangement. Loved it and will definitely be going back again soon. Idea country location but 10 minutes from boscastle, tintagel or buddy.

I have just retuned from my second visit from Courtyard Farm Cottages, our first visit was in June when we stayed in Pine Cottage, beautiful cosy clean cottage, with fabulous views across the valley, nice decking with table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the views and and have a bite to eat, having enjoyed it so much we booked for October and stayed in Millend Cottage, next door, equally as comfy and excellent layout, just so relaxing, i have now booked for next year, so this speaks for itself. also, Sean the owner is so helpful and makes sure everything is just perfect.
