Large room & large bathroom with a bath lovely, was the little things like fresh flowers & a few chocolates, booking site advised sheets & towels needed took my own but not necessary, bit remote not too bad first night very quiet bit noisier second night as people above me. Breakfast a miserable experience due to covid restrictions had to keep getting up & down to collect different elements of my breakfast only place I stayed where this happened as I have friends in the area would certainly stay again
My husband and I stayed for two nights at the bed and breakfast at Polhilsa Farm. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. The views over the Cornish countryside are beautiful. We will definitely return.
We booked Polhilsa last minute and we weren’t disappointed. The room was perfect with a comfortable bed. Breakfast on a morning was the best way to start your day. Polhilsa is tucked away in a quiet location and we found that we were quite central to everything that we had planned to do and it was perfect. Kay was really friendly and welcoming to us and our two dogs. We can’t fault our stay here at all. We’d definitely return.
Our annual trip to Cornwall always includes a stay at this lovely farmhouse. May is a brilliant host and cook's a great Cornish breakfast. We'll worth a visit if your looking for accommodation in the area.
My partner and I visited the b&b for 3 nights to visit family. The room we had was lovely, quite big with a double bed and a single bed and on suite. Tea and coffee was supplied with fresh milk left outside our room every morning. The beds were comfortable and room was quiet although we could sometimes hear the people above us moving around. The breakfast was lovely, full cornish breakfast or you can choose what you like and it is cooked fresh to the time you have chosen with a continental buffet. Kay the owner was lovely and always gave advice on where to go. It is surrounded by 2 large lakes which was lovely to walk around after breakfast. We had a lovely time and would certainly return.
