Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have stayed at lots of premier inns. This one was disappointing; 1. Pube and footprints on bed sheets on arrival. Staff did change these when asked. 2. Air con is advertised but does not work. Reported this, maintenance and reception staff came to review. They claimed it was working and set it to 8 degrees. At no point did the room feel cool at all, it was boiling, and the window wasn't able to be opened. You could hear the air con was on, but when touching the vent it was only blowing out the gentlest of warm puffs. Staff not willing to help any more. We spent 3 nights sweating ourselves to death. Husband is an engineer but staff still didn't believe us. 3. Bathroom smelt of a public toilet.

At the last minute i had to stay an extra night. So i booked it and the staff were amazing. I didnt have to remove my personal belongings from the room. All i had to do was get a new key activated. Dani and Phillippa were so welcoming and dealt with my new booking with ease. Thank you very much. As an amputee the room I had was amazing too. Bed was low for me to get in and out of with ease. Very comfortable. Walk in shower so i could sit while taking a shower. Very clean hotel. Id stay again for business or pleasure.

Really love this Premier Inn. First visit here, great staff and perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Phillippa and Paul couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. Pre-arrival were given an accessible room which helped my older parents out a lot and room was great for their needs. Lovely comfortable rooms, had a great night sleep and pub next door is perfect for breakfast. Well done Premier Inn Team!

The permier Plus rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. A huge thank you to all the staff their including Jenny and Phillippa. Parking was also spacious and covered by cctv. The meal deals in the restaurant exclude some items but not much and the staff are also helpful and friendly.

We were welcomed by Phillipa and Joanne on arrival. Very nice duo. We were allocated our room but found an issue with it and they changed the room with no bother at all. Nice clean room and comfy bed. The breakfast was fantastic too. We didn’t have lunch or dinner there as we had other plans. Just of the motorway which made it very easy.

This hotel is probably the best we have stayed in. Staff were brilliant, friendly, welcoming and efficient. The room had air conditioning which was great and was clean and well appointed. We asked for a room near reception as my husband has poor mobility and we got exactly what we asked for. Couldn't fault anything.

The issue that I have experienced was: I was looking for 2 nights stay in Cambourne area as i was working in that area. As i was working long days i wanted to book a hotel with a restaurant so i could have breakfast before work and a meal in the evening. I looked at far cheaper hotels and B&B's, however, chose the Premier in as it offered a restaurant and from previous experience i know that the food is reasonable. I booked for 2 nights including paying for breakfast at the time of booking. I arrived at the restaurant on the Sunday morning and was informed that the restaurant was full and that i should have booked previously, i was also told that i would not be able to eat my evening meal there as they were fully booked! I was not informed of this at the time of booking and was unaware until i attended for my breakfast. After some intense discussion with the staff on the door another guest who was traveling alone, kindly allowed me to join them at the table, without the kindness of this guest i would not have received my breakfast even though it had been paid for and the whole situation was embarrassing and unacceptable. I was not the only person in this situation as when leaving another couple of hotel guests were being turned away even though they had prepaid there breakfast. The restaurant staff also point blank refused to serve me an evening meal as i did not have a booking. This is not acceptable, Premier Inn are charging a premium compared to other hotels in the area which i paid as i wanted the ease of a restaurant onsite as advertised when booking. Premier Inn were happy to sell and take payment for meals that they could not provide. I had to drive into town in a large van which is hard to park for my evening meal, which was the last thing i wished to do after a long days work. I chose to book this hotel due to the restaurant facility and it is not right to advertise this and pre-charge for meals that cannot be provided.

Really good stay, Caroline and Kelly were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. It was handy to be so close to the A30 - when it was open! Nice to be able to get to Trevaskis Farm for a cream tea so easily and spend time at Camborne RFC watching them beat Loughborough.

Room Tip: Check you can get out of Cornwall when you go home, lots of road closures due to work on the A30.
