Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This campsite is a real find. The owner is super friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we need (including a spare electric hook up cable as we had forgotten ours!). The toilets were clean, the showers hot and the site really well cared for. Close to lots of local beauty spots - we went for walks on Bodmin Moor and visited Tintagel. Thanks so much for a great stay, we will definitely be back x

We visited Cherry Cottage on our very 1st camping trip and had a lovely experience! The pitches were lovely and large, separated by hedges for added privacy. The site was peaceful and very pretty.

The facilities were immaculate and the owner was great. We visited some beautiful places nearby as the site is perfectly placed to do so. The shop opposite was brilliant, well stocked with pretty much everything you could need as well as some delicous Cornish bakery treats! We had amazing fish & chips from the local chippy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I would definitely return and would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you for giving us the best first time experience!

Chris was very polite and accommodating; making us feel very welcome at his park. He lives at the entrance to it. Pay upon leaving rather than arrival. Very clean and tidy. Toilets, showers and sink area. Reasonably quiet site as it is only small.

We only stayed one night but found everything to be perfect. A quiet site, good sized pitches and spotless shower block. There is a small 'supermarket 'opposite the site entrance, very handy for essentials.

Cannot recommend this beautiful site enough. And what a wonderful guy chris, can’t do enough to help you especially when you come to hitch up and lights don’t work 🥺 he was there in 5 minutes and fixed it . Lucky for us, he used to be an auto electrician 👍🏼 great site, great ,clean facilities.

Fantastic campsite. Really family friendly. The toilets are very clean and the facilities on the site are also clean.
The Mason Arms in the village is a great family friendly environment.
Also, we have sampled the local chip shop, Chinese and Mexican which are all brilliant.
Definitely coming back.

Great value campsite with the friendliest and most helpful proprietors. Chris was so kind when we had an accident on the coast path and had to cut our trip short.

Spotless facilities.

Great location for coast and Bodmin Moor.

We stayed in our campervan here for one night. Excellent, clean and well maintained facilities, staff were very friendly. Small campsite and very quiet despite being near a major road. Felt like we were staying in a private, pretty and cosy garden. Great base for exploring tintagel and surrounds.

well thought-out pitches, spacious and planted with hedging for privacy. Good shower block, very clean. Great location for visiting Boscastle, Tintagel and the moors. In fact we walked to Rough Tor from the site, brilliant. Chris the owner very friendly. Would visit again.
