Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely long weekend spent at Silvermoon B&B. Jenny is a very friendly and welcoming lady who is able to offer recommendations on the local area, she also has two beautiful little dogs who are very cuddly and sweet.

Our room was lovely - very spacious, clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. Silvermoon is ideally situated to allow easy travel throughout North Cornwall with Tintagel and Boscastle just a short drive up the road. There was a good choice of cooked breakfast, although we don't have much of an appetite during the morning so we didn't get a chance to try any of the cooked food on offer, the coffee was delicious though!

The town of Camelford has two convenience stores and a couple of pubs, along with Peckish, which has to be one of the best chip shops I've ever been in!

All in all, we had a lovely time and can 100% recommend Silvermoon to anyone else looking for a B&B :)

Nice big room and lovely breakfast 😊 would stay again if I was coming to the area. It's also close to Camelford town centre, which includes pubs and places to eat. Nice quiet area and comfy beds, happy customer

Good clean bed and breakfast accomodation. Decent breakfast on both mornings, although the owners 2 dogs will sit watching your every move, hoping you'll drop something.

A five minute downhill walk away from the centre of Camelford, and satnav takes you right to the door, where there are free parking spaces. You get a key to the front door, so you can come and go as you please.

We had a pleasant stay, and I'd have no problem recommending The Silvermoon.

The room was large, comfortable, warm and extremely clean. The breakfast choice (and I'm a vegetarian) was extensive and plentiful. The location was peaceful, and yet within easy walking distance of the town centre. The owner, Jenny, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend Silvermoon.

We have stayed in many B&B's but this on stands head and shoulders above the rest. Well appointed and comfortable rooms, and the breakfast is second to non. Ample secure parking. The hostess, Jenny, is very friendly and outgoing. We will definitely stay there again even if we have to go slightly out of or way.

Im sceptical of B & Bs but Silvermoon was breath of fresh air. Warm friendly welcome after a very long drive; room was clean, comfortable and well kitted out with perfect attention to detail, ie drink making facilities, little biscuits, quality toiletries, soft towels, good bedding.
Breakfast was excellent and Jennys knowledge of where to visit, eat and buy stuff very useful, but her personality, friendliness and experience topped it.
Will definitely stay again.

Beautifully clean accommodation and a very warm welcome by Jenny and her dogs.
My friend and I had a twin and adjoining double room with kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms overlooked pleasant gardens and the kitchen overlooked the parking area. The cottage is set in quiet surroundings for a peaceful sleep. Jenny was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble and we look forward to staying again next year.

Friendly welcome. Clean room. Bathroom and kitchenette close together with no door on bathroom, just beads. No vegetarian option for breakfast even though we had said that one of us was a vegetarian (and there are lots of things easily available for vegetarians these days)
Good location to explore north Cornwall but not much in Camelford itself. Everything closed on Sunday apart from convenience store and pub.
