Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Oh my! What a wonderful place to stay. June and Michael were just so kind to us. The room was big, so comfortable, with a fridge! The bathroom fabulous, great hot shower. This scores a 10 on all fronts. Clean!! Comfortable! Quiet! Yummy breakfast, hot. Just amazing. Friendly puppies who made us miss our puppy just a little less. Quiet location, would love to be able to spend more time in Cornwall. Thank you so much!!!!

What a fabulous little treasure tucked away down a quiet Lane. Nestled amongst the trees Greenacres is the family home of June and Michael the wonderful and attentive hosts..who couldn't have been more charming and helpful.
We stayed 2 nights in a lovely quiet en-suite room with a big bathroom at the end of the bungalow and have to say we slept like babies.
Breakfast is served in the dining room with amazing views as far as the eye can see. Food was delicious and more than adequate. Nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommended and would definitely return.
Our one slight issue is the lack of a lock on the door.
If this was our B&B we would knock a front door into the office so the rooms have their own entrance and also block the hallway up to the 2 rooms with an interjoining door. Then it would afford complete privacy. If felt quite intrusive walking thru someone's home. We would also convert the garage..more rooms!
You both do a wonderful job and we are thrilled to have found this peaceful little gem.
Well done!

We turned up on a wet summers day for a prior booked few days away in Cornwall. When we opened the porch door to access the front door we were greeted with the stench of dogs, then after the dog growled/barked, the proprietor rounded the corner looking rather vague. "I'm not expecting anyone today" she said. We explained that we had been for several weeks now. This did not affect the fact that she had let our previously booked room out the day before, leaving us high and dry in Cornwall trying to find somewhere else at no notice. We spent two and a half hours searching the web for replacement accommodation!! I would strongly suggest alternative accommodation is sought if looking at Greenacres because you might end up sleeping in your car if you're looking at visiting Cornwall at a busy time of year............

I stayed for a few days with Janet and Michael and was treated like one of the family. I loved my room spotless clean nice white fluffy towels nice hot shower and plenty of toileteries. I enjoyed the breakfasts all local sourced ingredents. Loved sitting in the lounge chatting to Janet as we shared similiar interests. If i am in that area again this is where i will stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and there was much to praise. It is in a lovely situation in a quiet cul-du-sac. The garden is lovely but you need to go through the private area to access it. It is a bungalow with two rooms on offer. We had the twin room which boasts a good sized ensuite with a shower which was the easiest to use we had all week. I must commend both the large fluffy towels and the handwash which we liked so much we ordered some when we got home. Free toiletries provided including shower gel, shampoo and moisturiser. I have deducted 1 star because our bins were not emptied every day and so were overflowing with water bottles by the time we left. Secondly, and this may be our misconception but we were expecting to get our own patio, which was not the case. Lovely breakfasts made from local produce and very helpful landlady.

Our hosts June and Michael were very welcoming, the accommodation was spotless, the room was spacious and had a lovely en suite. the full english breakfast was just the ticket for setting you up for the day, ready for exploring some of the loveliest scenery you will find in England. I would definitely stay here again, keep up the good work. I hope Michaels surgery went well

Very welcoming hosts. The room was excellent with full size bathroom as opposed to a small en suite. Good venue for staying in the Port Isaac area at a very reasonable rate. Would highly recommend this B&B. Felt like home from home.
