Although local this was my first visit and we will most certainly come again. We booked for our Birthday Lunch, after a walk with the dogs. Rainy weather meant we arrived early and we received a very warm welcome for both the adults and our three dogs. The food was excellent, both the Sunday roast and the fish special. Well...

Lovely, cosy, dog friendly LOCAL pub. Extensive menu and wonderful service. Staff were incredibly friendly. Drinks were also good, the wine really super. This is a very special place and I'll be back very soon. Thank you!

Wonderful pub, most amazing sunset, very well kept beer and to cap it all a beatiful barmaid that "was glad she got us to stay" I'll definitely be going back! I've been visiting this pub for donkeys years and this experience was beguiling.

My wife took me down here as it has great sunsets into the sea, but the night we went the clouds decided to thwart us at the last moment. However the pub was very warm and welcoming and is obviously a very firm favourite with locals and visitors. The amount of people in there and eating and the very tempting...

Had, for me, my first visit to beautiful Cornwall and having read lots of recommendations for here we thought we would try it out....so glad we did! Called in advance to book a table and confirm dog friendly and arrived a little early. So glad we booked. Was already very busy at 7.30pm but we were seated immediately, drinks on...

Called in for lunch and had a wonderful meal. My wife had the crab thermidor which was in her words absolutely delicious. I had the cornish split with the minute steak filling. Wow what fabulous food. Lovely sweet courses and all for a very reasonable price. The pub was very busy and given the quality of the food and service...

Called in for lunch during this weekends visit to elderly parents nearby. A truly wonderful pub with great beer and fantastic food. The Cornish Splits with a good choice of fillings provided a substantial lunch & fuel for a good walk around Church Cove! Panoramic views across Mount's Bay from the tables at the front, a wonderful cozy old interior...

Discovered this fantastic place last night on a walk to church cove . Really helpful knowledgeable staff who gave good meal recommendations, great local food and fantastic beers. Very thankful that they managed to fit in the five of us at short notice.

There are very a few pubs that have such a great location. They usually just sit back and live on this very real feature. However this pub had excellent ale (super porthleven) and simply good food and very accommodating to families. Hey and a big improvement from when I was last here 27 years ago overflow car park! Keep going...
