A brilliant stay for a family, whatever the weather! Absolutely everything has been thought of and the attention to detail means you don’t pack what’s already been provided. The houses are so well equipped both in terms of every day essentials, equipment such as hair dryers and picnic rugs to games and beach stuff. The warm welcome you receive is brilliant and nothing feels like too much trouble.
Three mile beach has that perfect mix of self catering without the hassle. If you want to cook the kitchen is packed with the most lovely selection of crockery, pans and equipment. If you don’t want to cook there are multiple options and the Asian street food delivered to your door and the cocktails are excellent!
Comfy beds, towels for home and beach and dressing gowns mean comfort is a top priority. The barrel sauna and hot tub were perfect entertainment for all. The stunning beach just a few moments away must be amazing in summer but was also great for walks in the winter with a coffee van on the beach and a brilliant list of walks in the area. Great to see so many seals and the bird life in the summer in the nearby nature reserve sounds amazing.
So rarely do you find somewhere that has all the benefits of a luxury hotel and the flexibility of self catering in such a stunning location.
The team have created a perfect experience and will ensure your stay runs smoothly from start to finish. Thank you so much for a fantastic break!

My husband and I have just returned from the most wonderfully relaxing luxury 3 night break at Three Mile Beach.
We stayed in ‘Rock the Casbah’, a fabulous new 3 bedroom beach house, a stone's throw away from the most stunning Gwithian Towans beach. On arrival we received a tray of local goodies, including teas, coffee, biscuits, chocolate, spices and general essentials, a most welcome treat.
To say we felt thoroughly spoilt was an understatement.
From the amazingly friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel incredibly welcome to our spacious contemporary accommodation that had everything you could possibly need for a luxury Cornish beach break.
The weather although variable out of season, didn’t dampen our spirits either, with a personal hot tub and sauna, tasty themed street food and cocktails available onsite, there was nothing to disappoint.
Thanks to Jasmine’s recommendation, we walked a short walk across the dunes to the Godrevy Beach Café, for an excellent brunch.
From here we continued up past Godrevy Lighthouse to Mutton Cove, where we were delighted to find the cove full of seals and their adorable pups sleeping.
And a good night's sleep is exactly what we both had too, on one of the most comfortable beds we have had the fortune to sleep on. I think the sea air must help too. In our house were some extremely useful guides, that included local recommendations for eating out, things to do and to visit.
If you want the biggest selection of desserts you’ve ever seen, you must try Trevaskis and if you need to walk off the calories afterwards, there is a local walking guide.
In fact you are really spoilt for choice of places to eat out or visit, which just means one thing, we need to come back to try them all.
We couldn’t recommend Three Mile Beach more highly and can’t wait to return.
A big thank you to Nick and Jasmine and the wonderful team that made our stay so very special.

Three Mile Beach was heaven. When we visited in late August the weather was rather mixed but we spent every day on the truly magical beach - sometimes fuelled by hot chocolates and sometimes by ice creams! We were blown away when we arrived by how spacious, bright, clean and well designed the house was, with a huge terrace! The fridge was stocked with essentials so we didn’t have to dash straight to the shop and plenty of age appropriate board games for a rainy afternoon. We hired a beach buggy, wetsuits, body boards, surf boards and paddle boards - all waiting for us on arrival and looking brand new. The team were on hand to help with any issue, if we had one - our only request if we could extend by a night as we didn’t want to leave! The team kindly let our little ones use the outdoor shower on the last day and this gave us an insight into how thoroughly the houses are cleaned, from top to bottom including fully draining the hot tub for each new guest. Plenty to do nearby and some guest pop up hosts at the outdoor food truck which were a welcome change. We really couldn’t fault three mile beach at all. Already planning our next visit!

We’d originally planned to visit Three Mile Beach (TBM) in September for four nights this year, but work priorities meant we pushed back our visit, coupled with the husbands birthday and extended to a week in November.
Now the weather in Cornwall can be a bit stormy at that time of year, but I honestly felt like it made it more magical. 🌊🌊🌊
Key points:
*We stayed in a three bed dog friendly beach house 🐶
*it’s a stone throw from a beautiful dog friendly beach 🏖️
*In November, as it’s ’out of season’ much is closed during the week, but not at weekends 🙌
Why this didn’t matter:
*Without a doubt this is the most well equipped self catering accommodation I’ve ever stayed in!! The kitchen has everything to make (or reheat) superb meals 🍽️
*Peaceful and private location, but close (short drive) to a local Lidl, M&S Food and more beaches 🥘
*The sauna and hot-tub on a very private garden are fab (robes included) 🧖♀️
*Local day trips out are great - Penzance, St Michaels Mount, Lands End, Newquay and more locally St Ives are all within an hour 💡
*Great farm shops locally, ‘Cook’ ready meals and pizza on site, also available for JustEat 🌮
*Beautiful interiors and snugs, didn’t stop saying ‘wow’ for the first hour after arriving!! 🎑
We had an amazing stay here, it’s (rightly) pretty pricey in the summer months, but in the winter it’s still stunning. Staff amazing, affording privacy and being lovely. 🥰
It’s a 5* from me ♥️

Hi Liz Thank you so much for such a marvelous review! We are so pleased you guys (& Loxley) had such a lush holiday! This is our second time staying at Three Mile Beach and it certainly won't be our last... We stayed for four nights in 'Rocket Man' and can't speak highly enough of it. All of the rooms were perfectly equipped for our group of 6 (+1 four legged friend) and the lounge/kitchen area was a great place to relax after a day exploring the local beaches. And for those of us who enjoyed the local surf, coming back to our own private Sauna and Hot Tub really was the cherry on top. This must be one of the best places to stay in Cornwall..(if not THE best) so thank you to the Three Mile Beach team.... we'll see you again in September!
PS. The make your own pizzas are delicious
P.P.S The coffee from the in-house barista is even better!

This place is spectacular.
From watching the sunrise and sunset in the beach to eating authentic street food from the truck it’s got everything right.
The house has all you need, effortlessly catering for family groups with a well thought through approach to everything. Open the drawers, and every utensil or pan you could ever need is there. Neatly arranged and spotlessly clean.
Beach bags and essentials appear like Easter eggs in a game as you open storage around the house. And it’s all great quality, high end product as you’d expect. Nothing is left to chance.
The team are amazing. Anything you need they help with. From walking trips to restaurants to a private chef, they know the best people and places. They greet you with a smile, get to know you and really care.
And the surrounding areas are just spectacular. Walk along the beach and see the seals near the lighthouse. Drive (early!) to St Ives and sample the local food. Drive out to one of the many eateries by the sea.
We wanted a place to have peace and for me to do some writing. We found it and more.
Back again in August and looking forward to our stay.

Three mile beach is hands down the best place myself and my family have ever stayed in the UK. The houses are designed so beautifully with everything you need on the doorstep, including the beach which is a two minute walk away.
The decor inside and out is impeccable, capturing the beach house theme perfectly, whilst being cosy, quiet and warm too. The on-site catering was fantastic, with one night we ordered the make your own pizzas with a chef coming to our beach house with a pizza oven with a fantastic selection of ingredients for some kitchen fun. The private hot tub and sauna are a must-experience, and even the garden furniture offers a nod to the sea side location.
An absolutely must-visit experience for all in my opinion, we will be returning very soon and for many more cornwall beachside holidays to come!

We stayed at Three Mile Beach for 4 nights over the Christmas period. We were slightly apprehensive to be staying away from home for Christmas especially with children. However we really wanted the whole family to be together.
We stayed in the 4 bedroom accommodation, which slept 10 comfortably.
The beach house, and its facilities were FLAWLESS.
It was so cosy, yet spacious at the same time, and was truly like a home from home (but even better)
The house had absolutely everything we could need, from kitchen appliances / utensils, to robes, towels, shampoo, board games etc. We even had Christmas decorations and a real tree.
On arrival we were greeted by a Cornish hamper of goodies, champagne in the fridge, and home made mince pies. We simply could not have asked for more.
The beds were beyond comfortable, and the whole decor in the property was the highest quality and simply beautiful.
We honestly could not fault a thing.
We contacted the staff team a small number of times during our stay, and each time they were at the door with what we needed within minutes. They were all so polite, friendly and professional.
All in all, an incredible time away, and we cannot wait to return.

Three Mile Beach is one of kind, which is teeming with colour, great vibes, uniquely designed luxury lodges and the staff are one of a kind. They are happy, approachable and nothing is too much for them. The food van on-site has the most unique food, with different menus each week and the front of house staff are amazing. Big shout out to Rosie who was amenable, polite, chatty and so helpful. This cute little resort boasts views over Gwithian Beach and I have never seen such amazing sunsets. At Three Mile Beach you can really lose yourself and immerse yourself in pure joy. It’s a real holiday vibe like I’ve never seen or experienced. Amazing value for money and I can’t wait to go back.
This place is geared up for all kinds of holiday makers, including families, friends, children and is also dog friendly. Each luxury lodge has the most beautiful furniture and equipment, with fantastic kitchens and bathrooms. They are immaculately clean, and each has some wonderful toiletries that are there for the guests. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub and outside areas that are private and comfortable.
I cannot say anything negative about Three Mile Beach! It is truly magical, memorable and unique!

Wow wow and more wow!
We couldn't have had worse weather 2 red and amber storms, freezing cold winds but wouldn't have missed our stay for the world.
The beach houses are stunning and had everything and more than we could possibly have wished for.
We were welcomed by Jasmine who couldn't have been lovelier.
Fabulous welcome hamper that set the scene for the spoilings and attention to detail to come in this property.
Beautiful decor and warm and cosy which was definitely needed this week!
Stunning bathrooms and comfy beds.
Every little detail really has been thought of.
We have never stayed in a property that has been so generous in meeting the guests needs and gaurenteeing they have the best possible holiday experience.
The beautiful jacuzzi a highlight for us all, very impressed that it was serviced/ managed twice a day.
We ordered the roast from the on site menu and due to the poor weather it was kindly delivered to our kitchen, delicious!
Our dog was as well catered for as we were with lovely dog bed beautiful dog bowls, the warm outdoor shower a godsend for sandy dog.
The only thing that could improve on perfection would be if the outside space could be made enclosed so dogs could be free to use the space without the risk of dogs like ours wandering off 😬
Thank you to all 3 Mile Beach for making our stay with you so wonderful, one we will never forget.
Really didn't want to leave.

Response from Nick McIvor, General Manager at Three Mile Beach
Responded 19 Mar 2022
Thank you! Seeing Gwithian at its wildest with two storms is pretty spectacular, I love that you appreciated how amazing it it is, and I am so pleased you tried our roasts. I am always disappointed when I don't work a Sunday and I miss them! I appreciate your comment regarding the outside space. We have spoken to our lovely carpenter friends and they are making permanent gates to sit around each property to make the decking more secure. Apologies they were not ready for when you were here. I have passed on your lovely feedback to the teams and hopefully we will see you all next February.
