We stayed in the four bedroom lodge that is set in its own garden with ample parking. The lodge was spotless and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel homely and so welcoming. The kitchen was so well equipped that any cook would be happy. We made use of the dishwasher and the washer dryer. There was also plenty of cupboards for our shopping. The bedrooms were beautifully made up for our arrival and they too had plenty of wardrobe space. The lounge is so big with a huge settee that allowed everyone loads of room to watch the large screen TV. The included WiFi was excellent and non of us had any issues with the signal. The en-suit wet room is fabulous but we didn’t use the jacuzzi bath in the family bathroom. I’m sure others might enjoy that treat. This lodge was perfect for a larger family or multi-generational family like ours. We think it is fantastic value for money.

Another fantastic stay. Accommodation is fantastic and Kell (the owner) is fantastic and always around. We have already booked to go back next year for our 3rd visit. A nice quiet retreat and 10 mins walk from the beach.

Silver Sands is a hidden gem. Beautifully run my Nick and Kel. I have visited Silver Sands for 15 years and each trip is memorable. Wonderful access to nearby Kennack Sands through the nature reserve valley. Then you are on the SW coastal path with wonderful views.

A lovely site, very green and spacious. The facilities were clean and in good condition and the staff very friendly and helpful. Don't forget Potter's Bar just 15 minute walk away, it tends not to get a mention because it doesn't do food but the beer and cider are good and there's a Thai Food van nearby!

I booked this break last minute as we had never really visited this area before. It was the best choice, the site is situated perfectly for visiting Lizard Point, Mullion, Coverack and several beautiful beaches. There is a walk from the site through woods to a lovely dog friendly beach. The path is steep in places so not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. You can drive to the same beach in seven minutes and there is a cafe and lifeguard station there. T he site is very dog friendly with a field for off lead if your dog doesn’t have cloth ears like mine. We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch and were really impressed with the size and condition, very well kept. The shower block is in need of a little tlc but the showers were always hot, pressure excellent. There are shower curtains, good shout to prevent whole cubicle getting wet, I personally don’t like them, but they were very clean and did the job well. The washing machine was out of order while we were there but didn’t cause any major issues for us. There are little shops, farm shop and butchers near by. Main supermarkets in Helton which is eight miles away. This would not have been an issue but for four days of road works resulting in sitting in traffic jam for at least 40 mins. Once road works complete it only takes 15 mins to get to Sainsbury or Tesco’s. The owners are very welcoming and readily available if needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommend this site 100% and will definitely be back, Thank you for a really relaxing week in a beautiful area.

Been there on and off since 2001. Camping and then caravans. Small peaceful site. It only gets better, Camp site well spaced with play area in centre. Modern caravans, site really well kept. Shork walk down to Kennack sands, really nice beach with a couple of cafes and walks each way on coast path to other places.

A great campsite, we stayed for a week in our VW van, spacious pitches not at all squashed in. The site was immaculate, showers, toilets and washing area always clean and tidy, as was the site. There are also freezers where not only can you freeze ice blocks but also use space for frozen food if you wished, only stipulation was that items were bagged and named. There was also a washing line on site, which was handy just to air the towels etc. No shop or club which we were aware of and suited us, there is a pub a short walk across the fields and a large caravan park with a Nisa shop on site within a 10 minute walk if you are desperate for something. Lovely walk through the woods to the beach also coastal path nearby. Owners very welcoming and helpful. If you are looking to stay near the Lizard and do t want a huge site I would throughly recommend this site. If we were to visit this area in the future we would definitely book again. Lovely children’s play park which I’m sure is a hit with any children visiting.

I booked Silver Sands to go with my teenage daughter and her friend. It was the most delightful site. Immaculately clean and tidy, quiet and peaceful, exactly what I was hoping for and more. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed van and on arrival it was ready with a lovely welcome cup full of tea and coffee sachets, some basics like washing up liquid and loo roll, and the tesco shop we had ordered arrived just before we did. The van was immaculately clean and smelt fresh, equipped with everything we needed and the location was stunning. The loo/shower blocks were so good that we showered in them rather than the caravan, great water pressure and plenty of space. The walk to the beach was fantastic, a real adventure, even if I did think my lungs would explode on the walk back up! The beach was quiet and clean, so perfect. The cafe served us lovely drinks and cakes and there were loos there to. We walked down one evening and just sat on the wall watching the paddle boarders. The location is great for exploring the Lizard and we had a wonderful day at the glorious Kynance Cove. Had I had more energetic holiday companions I would have loved to explore the coastal path some more. Another time. Nick and Kel were so helpful when I couldn't figure out how to work the oven (my fault not the oven's) and Nick came to the van to show me, very kind. The wifi isn't great but I wouldn't expect it to be in that location. We managed to send messages so it's fine for that and it was a delight to play board games rather than sitting in front of a screen. There is nothing I would change about this place, it's perfect!

Our family has been coming back to Silver Sands for years now. We keep coming back because we are made to feel so welcomed. We stay in a lodge and a couple of static caravans. The accommodation is always exceptionally clean and contains everything we needed with so many added thoughtful details. The lodge is very spacious with four good bedrooms, one ensuite. It is such a bonus to have a dishwasher, washing machine and good WiFi. It stands in it’s own private garden ideal to allow us all to meet up in the evening. The grounds of the park are immaculately tended and the bin areas are discrete and well managed. We know our children are safe to play, they enjoyed the playground and sandpit. We love the location, just a short walk to the Kennack Sands and across a couple of fields to the nearest pub at Kuggar. We enjoyed visiting beaches, gardens, Falmouth and Flambards. Next year is already reserved.

We stayed in a static home, which was well-equipped and in immaculate condition. The grounds are well tended and full of flowers, in fact, we had two wonderful tubs adjoining the chalet. We were made extremely welcome by the owners, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The surrounding areas show Cornwall at its best. There is absolutely nothing that could be improved and we will make a return future soon.
