Orion's Rest is a small but perfectly formed detached barn. Built from local granite with a slate roof it sits beautifully in its surroundings. It has its own garden for you to enjoy including an outside fireplace and seating area. There is also off-road parking. As well as being nestled in the picturesque countryside of Godolphin Cross it is also perfectly located for the beaches of the north and south Cornish coasts. Considerate dog owners and their pets are welcome at Orion's Rest.

Well ever done some holiday accommodation in our time but without doubt this barn conversion set in unspoilt countryside is one of the best of its type. The hosts are the nicest people you could with to meet and the place truely deserves a 5 Star rating. Absolutely beautiful 👍

Delightful, private and quiet converted barn. Ideal for couples. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a good variety of choice. Emma & Dave were the perfect hosts and went out of their way to accomodate all our wishes. Thoroughly recommended. You will not be disappointed!

We found this little cutie online and were in no way disappointed! The accommodation is characterful, well thought out and pristine. The private garden is a joy and Emma and Dave are fabulous hosts! We'll be back to have more chill time, more excellent breakfasts (do NOT pass up the opportunity to have the scrambled egg) and maybe even overhear some pretty decent guitar playing again ;-)

When we were searching for somewhere to stay on our return from Scilly we originally wanted to be in a seaside village. However, we were unable to find anything that was ideal for us. And then I saw Orion' s Rest! Just the sort of thing we like and only a stone's throw from the coast. On arrival we received such a warm welcome that we immediately felt at home. The accommodation was spacious, light and spotless, and the little garden was a delight. The breakfasts, cooked by Dave, were just delicious! The immediate area was very pleasant for evening strolls, with an abundance of wildlife. All in all, we loved it there and are already planning our return. Well done, Emma and Dave !

I visited this B&B in 2013 and loved everything about it...the fact you are in a lovely barn conversion separate from the main house, that there is a beautiful garden to enjoy and the fact that dogs are very welcome. Emma and Dave are as friendly and welcoming as usual and there has been a refurb in the barn. The new modern bathroom is fantastic, and the furniture and storage are perfect. I went with my 2 Dogs and they just loved the garden. It is the perfect place to stay. Peaceful private and beautiful. Thank you
