After spending the previous night beside the fast lane of the A303, we felt the tension drain away as we slowly wove our way down the tiny country lane leading to Upper Trevartha - and silence! We were welcome by Kathryn with the offer of tea and home made saffron buns, served in the beautiful garden. Our twin room was...

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I was feeling so ill when you arrived and for breakfast the next morning with bronchitis that I was not at all my bubbly self. You were certainly my sort of guest and perhaps you might like to try our holiday cottage on the River Camel. A new kitchen is going in...

A wonderful surprise just ouside Liskeard! Kathryn warmly welcomed us, the room was fantastic, really spacious, high quality finished and absolutely comfortable! This place absolutely deserves a visit, and we are upset to have spent just one only night there. Breakfast was great and rich, and the wifi was perfectly working. Just a little cons: the farm is not so...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights late September and after a long drive from London and a bit of fluffing about trying to find the place, turning the last corner was like driving into a post card.. Set in beautiful rural Cornwall the nicely preserved old farm house was a sight for road weary eyes. Kath the owner is...

Intending to visit Liskeard and Lanhydrock House over a weekend we trawled the web and came up with this gem of a farmhouse tucked away in the Cornish countryside. A warm welcome, excellent accommodation and lovely food all made for an enjoyable stay, Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cut short our visit - which is a good...

We have just returned from staying here and wanted to write to say how fantastic this B&B is. This is a very special place and the best B&B we have ever stayed in. We had a large antique four poster in a very spacious room with fabulous en-suite with Shower. The decor was beautifully done with Laura Ashley bed linen...

If you're looking for something special this is the place. An ideal accommodation to treat the wife on a short break. Everything is top notch from the moment you walk through the door until you leave. Until you have stayed here you will then fully understand my comments. You will not be disappointed I promise.

I was lucky enough to be able to join my husband on a business trip to Bodmin Moor and stay at Higher Trevartha Farm; this will be the first of many trips, I hope, as I would definitely find reasons to come and stay again at this very special B and B. The location is peaceful, beautiful and in an...

A wonderful stay in a beautiful farmhouse. The rooms are superb, and we could not fault it. Clean, comfortable and a great breakfast. We were cycling on our way through to Lands End and will be back for sure!

We have stayed at Higher Trevartha Farm before with our children and friends. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to go back on our own for a little mini break. We were not disappointed! As before, we were greeted on arrival with a welcome cup of tea and a slice of homemade fruit cake. Kathryn and Trevor really...

I was very impressed by this lovely, pleasant and very well presented place. The building inside and out is beautifully presented and very cosy. The breakfasts are very tasty and there is more than enough available to fill anyone's hunger! After my two night stay, I found myself wanting to remain there even longer. I fully intend to pay another...
