Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our tenth year of staying at this fabulous Caravan and Motorhome CL site. Says it all! Our kids have grown up here, learned to ride their bikes here, walked our dogs here (excellent dog/outdoor games field), learned to fill/empty the water/waste here. It's a gem! Lots to do nearby, particularly Siblyback Lake and Golitha Falls. On site shower and toilet block. The shower is the best of all sites we've ever stayed at! Lastly but most importantly are Suzanne and David and their little dogs. They are always warm and welcoming. Ooh and the site has been extended! Lovely grassy site with gravel entrance road. This is how all CL's should be!!

Our arrival in heavy rain was greeted by Suzanne & David assisting us to level up the caravan, and to relax without delay. What a delightful couple who made our 2 week stay a real treat. Suzanne's Cornish cream tea with home made scones were exceptional, as is, her home made bread. A very green and well maintained CL with views and the sound of sheep and cattle for company. The two fully enclosed fields as a run for our Retriever was ideal and again well maintained. Central for visiting many interesting Cornish attractions and of course outstanding coastal highlights. A strong recommendation if you are looking for a peaceful site and friendly owners

Really love returning to this hidden gem, bags of space, some pitches have been improved perfect for motor homes, better wifi than at home and totally idyllic countryside location. Gloriously grassy and super clean and well looked after. Even Covid can't spoil this one!!

In Field View again this time it is such a lovely cosy cottage. So clean and so well prepared . The hosts , David & Suzanne will go above and beyond to help you. There is now a great farm shop further down the road towards Siblyback Lake it sells lovely fruit , veg and lovely fresh milk . Due to current circumstances Tapenades Restaurant, Liskeard will deliver to Hendrifton. The meal we had was absolutely delicious. Thank You again for splits and bread 😀. Can’t wait till next visit.

We arrived to a warm and knowledgeable welcome from Suzanne, The cottage was spotless, with everything you need and very comfortable. the area was peaceful but not to far the main roads so access to both costs of Cornwall within easy access would highly recommend . David was always happy to chat and provide his knowledge of the area . the local restaurant provided a delivery service of 5 star meals ( recommended by Suzanne) I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage which is one of three. PS: the home made cream team was a treat to arrive to. The Covid precautions were faultless so you felt that you could relax with out concern.

Hendrifton is such a wonderful place with great hosts Suzanne and David. This is our 4th visit and we are staying for over two weeks this time. Wonderful location to visit Bodmin Moor as well as the north and south coasts. So much to do. Recommended.

Absolute gem of a place with holiday cottages and a Caravan & Mororhome Club CL. Coming here is like visiting family, such a warm welcome every time. The place and facilities are spotlessly clean (they have taken covid in their stride) with extra cleaning. The grassy pitches are well kept so I didn't bring flip flops, barefoot is bliss here. Masses of outdoor space, really family and dog friendly to boot. The holiday cottages are superb and nothing is too much trouble. The local area is beautiful and lots to do even during lockdown. The ultimate in peace and quiet, watching buzzards overhead and the lovely owners paws are adorable. Bob is their Entertainment officer and Reka is Border security!! There is even a raised herb bed on the CL for those culinary inclined. Certainly made our pasta yummy. Idyllic spot on the edge of Bodmin Moor, just superb.

Thank you for your glowing review! We do love welcoming returning guests and it is lovely to hear that it feels like you’re visiting family; I guess that’s what we aiming for, a home away from home! The herb bed is thriving so it’s a permanent feature and we’re really pleased you made use of it. Hope the rest of your summer has been good and we look forward to seeing you again soon. David, Suzanne, Bob and Reka xx

Had an amazing week at Hendrifton Farm. Suzanne & David made us feel very welcome at a difficult time. (Covid19) The cottage is immaculate and has everything you need to fulfil your holiday requirements. Just what we needed! Oh and Suzanne's scones were scrumptious!

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Field View Cottage at Hendrifton Farm. We have to say that we are struggling for enough superlatives to describe our visit. First off the cottage, perfect, well furnished and very comfortable, literally everything has been thought of...the most doggy friendly place we have ever stayed in, complete with doggy blankets and towels and treats and tags....and then for us, homemade scones and clotted cream and jam....oh and the most DIVINE whipped coconut cream....the cottage is so comfortable and welcoming and we felt so at home as did the dogs with the little garden and then access into the wonderful field for ball throwing and general running about. Walks from the cottage are lovely, Siblyback Lake, lovely and Minions and moors to explore too....And finally our hosts....David and Suzanne are genuine, kind, thoughtful and wonderful hosts who clearly care about their guests experience. They have an absolute understanding of what makes a good experience and are such warm and friendly people that it’s impossible not to like them....oh and our furry hosts Bob and Reka too....what more can we say....it would be very easy to stay quiet and keep this place a wonderful secret....but honestly, it’s too good...!

This was our first holiday with a dog. Wow, what a great way to start. Cottage was absolutely spotless not a dog hair in sight and hosts welcoming but not intrusive. Lots of little touches like s cream tea on arrival, a doggy box with towels , bowl, blanket and tag and a ping of fresh milk and cream in the fridge. . Lashings of hot water and a really nice cosy feel. View in the morning was lovely for early breakfast and lots of lovely walks around. Only stayed 4 nights but will be back for more. Top tip. Take plenty of bubbles for a soak in the roll top !
