We arrived here on spec and found our host pottering in the garden. He welcomed us immediately by suggesting a cuppa and after chatting for about 15mins we were left to pick our room. We took the double with a view over the back garden. The room and ensuite were spotless, the bed firm and comfy. Brians generosity over our...

For travelers too used to creatures' comfort, this B n B surely puts you to ease with its modern furnishing and an excellent shower facility that delivers a powerful water pressure. The proprietor also had ensured that there are sufficient electrical sockets conveniently located, so there is no problem even if you have a camcorder, an ipad and an iphone....

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The rooms are always immaculate. The breakfast, a welcome change from "The Full English" has more fruit than you could want, a large selection of cereals, many good quality jams and coffee and tea ad lib. Mine Host Brian is a fund of local information and some of...

A coincidence brought us to Pennwood Forge Guest house in 2006 when we remembered a recommendation by German friends. Since then we've stayed here 5 times and hope there will be several times more to come. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall from North to South and from East to West. The town is very pretty with nice little...
